JT was a beast and everyone contributed! Horford continues to amaze me.

Bancero gonna have the magic a top 4 seed soon enough. Maybe next year. 3rd best player in the conference behind Giannis and Tatum? Cade probably deserves a mention as well.

Lakers lost too. Great day of basketball!

I seriously think this Magic team is putting up as much fight as Dallas did last year in the Finals

Playoff Al. If we win it all, I hope they build a statue of him outside TD of him dropping dropping the people’s elbow on Giannis back in ‘22.

JAYSON TATUM WAS MAGNIFICENT. Better than a League MVP. Derrick White played like an All-Star. Jaylen Brown and Zinger were solid. Al Horford still has something in the tank. Well fought win.

An Alternative Perspective:

Pts. + Rebounds + (0.5 x Assists) + Steals + (0.5 x Blocks) - Missed Field Goals - (0.5 x Missed Free Throws) - Turnovers - (0.5 x Blocks)

+37 Jayson Tatum 42 minutes

+23 Derrick White 39 minutes

+18.5 Jaylen Brown 41 minutes
+15 Kristaps Porzingis 22 minutes

+9.5 Al Horford 35 minutes
+5 Sam Hauser 18 minutes

+2 Luke Kornet 16 minutes
-1.5 Payton Pritchard 26 minutes

Team Total = 108.5

Al is going no where.

He settles the Jays.

His value doesn't show up in the stats most the time.

I was wrong when they gave up a first for him and I couldn't be happier.

So hyped for Horford, who just gave a free masterclass on how to help your team win a close game without scoring a point (though he may have been sent to the FT line at the end).

This dude's still doing it at 80. Unreal.

That thread on the GB about which team has the best big three and then not making White or Al the third wheel lol

I have a confession to make. When I heard the MVP chants I forgot this was a road game

If they're not retiring his number, I will build a stadium named after Horford's mom then hang his jersey up the rafters there -- Arelis Arena. Hang #42 alongside banner 19.

Yeah, I wouldn't have enjoyed Luka, Lebron, and Lakers impending exit from the playoffs had we lost. Good job to everyone involved! Go Cs!

Solid bounce back by Zinger, even tho not perfect 19pts in 22 minutes
Al was clutch and tough, 5 blocks baby!
Hauser bounce back game. 2-3 from 3pts and team leading +/-
JT with a big game takeover, MVP performance

Close this thing out on Tues!

Luke went backwards tonight I thought. Okay on defense, but lacking on the glass and on offense. Luke being a hub where he gets the ball, doesn’t look at the hoop, and keeps it moving…. I dunno. It’s tougher in the playoffs to impact the game with that type of intangibles game if you are not looking to score.

I can't believe the Lakers will fail to meet us in the finals yet again. Poverty franchise tbh

Banchero is a great pick as the cornerstone franchise player. Big, strong, talented guy. Wagner is an ideal sidekick. If they can somehow land a star pg (Trae?), they can get to another level.
