Fun fact. - Timmy has a very nice 911 Turbo custom green with gold wheels. Saw him pulling out from the arena during his Mavs days.

They looked like a 6th seed. Take away the
3 point spamming and they are beatable.

Tobias one of the biggest b*tches in the league, fake tough guy, Knicks have show balls this series. Tough on defense and running a nice offense. They can absolutely play w Boston.

Yep. Their coach talks a lot of crazy sh*t we need to play super physical and test the refs.

it's just annoying having to listen to the narrative being anything other than Kat coming up clutch.

talking heads should be calling out cade for going 0-2 with a turnover in 3 straight possessions instead it's "OMG a missed call" which again to me it would have been a soft bailout call to make there in that situation.

Fck em

Hoops discourse is trash.

I haven't heard a word cause I've been watching that last 5min YouTube video on repeat.

And like you said kats baseline (melo)fade and deep 3 are were he became a Knicks legend. Sht was so pure. They can't take that away from us. We won.

yea it's my own fault i engage too much in the discussion and consume too much content. but i was just watching the wolves game and then celtics games and hearing them harp on the foul and not give any props to Kat is annoying.

but yea right after the game ended i kept playing it back it was a glorious stretch. i actually forgot about the 1st 3 that Kat made off the great pass from brunson. Kat made his last 3 shots all 3 were big clutch baskets.

Oh I consume way too much content too. But I stick around here or some stuff on tweeter. Hard to keep away from it if we watch other hoops. But I dont watch many shows about hoops. The content is poor. They disparage the game and it's players. Makes no sense to me.

As for the game. The more I watch those final mins the more I'm impressed by Kat. Not many players in the L can hit those shots he made. That deep 3 and that fade. Man. Just clutch. And we wouldn't have even been in that spot if Brunson wasn't a superhero

Also shout out OG for forcing two key Cade misses. If I was a Detroit fan those misses are what would stand out to me. thankfully I'm not.

I been saying it for weeks, not after this game. Knicks are playing more physical defensively and fighting through screens. They can play w/ the Celtics, the offensively challenged Magic almost took a second one from them today for God's sake.

THJR is on the other team, so it's fine. Also, I don't think there's a lot of diehard Tim fans who want him back  So there's no pepsi vs coke type argument to be had.

Never forget that THJ balling out in a meaningless regular season game got us KP instead of KAT.

And we got him twice.

I still dont love the Thibs system. Also Huge mistake not playing Delon Wright more. He proved he deserv3s minutes and is a perfect Thibodeau prototype guard. Would bring that extra defense and was playing clearly better than McBride is right now.

This team wins in spite of Thibs more often than because of him. In any event, today was a razor thin win bc our two top guys clutched it up bigtime with just incredible shotmaking.

I want Delon Wright back in the lineup and he deserves to play. His length and perimeter D will be even more important vs the Celtics and their 3 bombing.

Brunson was extremely clutch. Gritty performance. Leaving the game we really struggled without him. He showed why hes the captain today.

KAT didnt just hit those shots he didnt even hit rim. Nothing but net. "Greatest Big man shooter ever" claim was definitely supported tonight in the 4th and I must say I think hes doing an amazing job when we switch him onto Cade instead of have him in Drop. Idk if it's Cades lack of true lateral quickness or his struggle with KATs size but he definitely doesn't do to great there. Shoutout to Thibs for that

Hart hit big straight away threes in this game, got big rebounds in this game, and almost sold us in the end... but I loved him in this game. That reach in on Cade that turned it over was pivotal.

Mikal... was good defensively imo but man I was ready to legit beat his ass myself when he was bricking those wide open 3s... BUT HE HIT THEM TWO HUGE ONES... gotta secure that rebound better tho at then end there.

OG... bruh gotta figure out how to catch the goddamn basketball. Just a rough game overall imo.

Dont have much to say about Deuce Mitch or Cam tbh they all need to be better.

Great win.

3 chances to close them out with 2 games at home. Lets do it on Tuesday dammnit!

Damn...a few games ago, we were concerned about how we got whupped by the Pistons and now we're talking about destroying the Celtics. I think we gotta close out the series first before we discuss anything. I don't think we're good enough as a team to overlook anyone, unfortunately.

Just watched the 4th quarter in it's entirely again. Last offensive possession for the Knicks after Schroeder taps the ball out, Knicks have 4 seconds left on the shot clock. Not a single player looks over at the bench. There is not even an attempt to ask Thibs what to do. JB first goes to inbound the ball, the players talk it over and then decide Mikal should inbound the ball. They setup a beautiful curl play to get JB free driving to the hoop. I know they practice these players during practice but the fact they didn't want or need any type of direction or confirmation from Thibs speaks volumes.

Am I reading too much into this or does this reiterate the fact that Thibs sucks at in game situations and his own players don't even trust his guidance?!
