On the bright side, imagine if we had Bucks 2026 or 2027 and traded those, this place would be in complete meltdown right now :lol:

KAT + Bridges for Giannis + Portis could work. They could route KAT to NOP and Bridges to MEM for young players and picks.

If the Knicks decide they want to trade for Giannis, Jalen will have to be included in the trade, since Giannis needs the ball to create his own shots.

Giannis and Jalen in pick and rolls wouldn't be successful because no one is afraid of Giannis attempting shots from above the free throw line, so the opposing defense would just use drop coverage since Giannis isn't a threat to pop out and shoot the 3 pointer like KAT, and Kristaps.

It would have to be Jalen + Mikal for Giannis, since Giannis needs to be the PG in order to be effective.

The only way Jalen and Giannis fit on the same team would be Giannis moving to the Center position and him playing the role of Shaq and get all of his points in the paint.

Jalen is pretty good off ball, too. Giannis may be humbled after all these playoff losses since 2021… maybe.

I agree. I watched the documentary on him and I think his first choice is to stay and retire there. He seems to be very loyal. It’s really become a very bad situation though, so I wouldn’t bet on it.

He's got 3 full years left on his deal, there's no reason to just send him off anywhere he wants if the return isn't good. I'm sure they'll try to help, but if one team is offering a better package than whatever the Nets can offer, he's gonna end up there, just like how Dame wanted Miami and ended up in Milwaukee.

The Dame injury changes things, they don't own their picks, so getting picks + good young player(s) back for Giannis has to be the absolute top priority. I'd be looking at Houston, with Reed + Amen + Green or Sengun as my starting point, and the Suns picks, then the Spurs with Castle, Vassell, Hawks picks + this years pick, and then the Thunder, either Chet or Jalen Williams + picks.

They thought they'd be gifted Dame because he wanted to be there, but he was under contract for 4 more years so the Blazers could deal him wherever. Now that he tore his Achillies the picks the Blazers got from the Bucks are pretty much a top asset now.

It seems Rockets n Spurs are just too perfect for him… and of those two, Rockets assets are superior… then add in Dream/Rockets connection. We have no chance.

These dudes got the 9th spot in this draft, plus Amen n Sengun to offer plus more picks. Then they could even trade Jalen Green n Jabari for KD. That team has insane potential this summer.

FVV, Brooks, KD, Tari, Giannis +Udoka, smh

That’ll redeem their GM from passing on Castle for Jimmer 2.0

Why wouldn't the Pelicans or the Memphis Grizzlies cut the Knicks and get Giannis directly from the Bucks in this scenario? They have the assets the Bucks want. We don't. They should rather get Giannis than KAT or Mikal.
