Can someone explain to me what the "get" is in regards to Bam (overall)? I understand he has been a good defensive player in the past and maybe this year is a down year for him, but he is not quite 20 ppg/10 rebound player who ahs the worst shooting metrics of his career.

Maybe he was billed as a #2, but really is just a piece of the overall puzzle. He excels with better players.

I'm with Jayu.

BAM's more of a play finisher than a creator.
And moving him from full time Center to PF takes him out of his comfort zone a bit.

He'd probably thrive on a team with two established scoring options, like:

Booker and KD.
or Jaylon and Jayson.
or Lebron and Luka.
or Jalen and KAT.
or Kawhi and Harden.
or Jokic and Jamal.

Randomness:

He currently makes $32m.

In 26/27 he will make $51m.
Then he goes to $60m per year.

He's a good third option on a championship team.

Im curious to see how things end up. Anything is possible with Lebron.

Bron will continue to praise JJ or one day it all changes like we've seen before. Lebron has never valued coaches. JJ comes off as the type of person that must do things his way.
