50% off online orders after every win with coupon HEATWIN. They've had that deal for a number of seasons now.

Nah LeBron threw those Finals. Which is even worse, and why he will forever be hated by me.

Yeah he suddenly "forgot" how to post up against midgets. Watched that bonehead in what, 07? walk down the Pistons by himself with a garbage squad, greatest basketball performance over a series I've ever seen. It made me say if this is the player he is, he's gonna be the greatest of all time quick af. Then suddenly forgets how to play in the post against midgets because Wade was trending for finals MVP.

You know Wade and LeBron were making a big deal shilling their stupid 08 redeem team documentary. But I'd pay any amount of money to get the real story behind the 2011 Finals collapse, all of it, every juicy detail. Of course we'll never hear that because LeBron's image is way too well protected now, but that's the scoop I want.

I turned off this embarrassment to watch WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix. Much more entertaining.

Loved Wade in 2006. After that I don't know what happened. He had a big 09 I believe? After 2006 I actually thought "Damn that closes to MJ-esque" Basketball I've seen. 2006 I really thought Wade was gonna be the 2nd coming of MJ.

Jimmy package playing terrible.
Dame package playing terrible.
Dame broken too.

This would have been Heat's fate no matter what road they took.

This is the sad truth, sometimes there are no winners. Well, unless we can turn the Dame package into the pieces that gets the next Wade.

Wade against the Pistons in 05 was better, and it was when the Pistons still had an incredible, best in the league D. But I agree with everything else.

Honestly, the 2011 finals made me look at Wade differently too. He just fell in line behind LeBron after that, took it on the chin. And then again when LeBron purposefully screwed us on his way out (even though I still disagree with Riley taking that out on Wade).

That series by Wade was like 1a/1b between he & Bron, only because we had a better squad. That layup was CRAZY by Wade. I missed all the bank shots he used to do.

But return of bald Wade during the Olympics is my favorite player. My god that windmill against Canada had me running and screaming.

We haven’t won a home playoff game in 708 days, that streak will push to over 1,000 at minimum by next year

Actually the end of the original 90's Heat squad was worse, although you said you started watching after that. Fall to Knicks 3 straight years in the playoffs, on buzzer beaters for the last 2, then finally upgrade the roster only to lose Zo to a rare kidney disease, and when Zo miraculously returns by the end of that season, lose to the Hornets in 3 massive blowouts where we get completely run off the court and Mashburn, the guy who constantly hid from the limelight against the Knicks, finally finds his nuts and goes crazy scoring like 25 a game and dominating us.

That was definitely the worst. The last two years are nothing compared to that sequence of events that was built up over like a 4 year period. It was so bad it forced Riles into his first retirement.

And before those Knicks losses there was no way Mourning/Hardway were getting past the Bulls. And those Heat teams were really good.

Brian Grant was signed to play next to Zo, but like you said Zo had the kidney issue. Grant still played his heart out, but had to play center instead of PF next to Zo.

There was also the season Anthony Mason joined and made the Allstar team.

I just looked and Heat won 50 games in 2000. Sucked for two years and then got Wade in 2003. Wade was once in lifetime. Adding Lebron and Bosh to him was once in a life time. I don't think the Heat are ever going to get to that level again.

Lakers get once in generation players multiple times. They're about the only team. No one else does. Celtics had Bird in the 80s and didn't win a ring again until they were able to team up KG, Pierce, and Allen past their prime. Bulls had Jordan and haven't been championship contenders since. Spurs had Duncan, but no rings before and no rings since he retired. Pistons and Rockets both won back to back and then Pistons were able to win one with a really balanced team. Who knows how many rings Giannis and Jokic end up with. There's a long list of great players who never won a championship. It's hard.... we're lucky we got to watch Wade on the Heat.

Truth. If we can cut their lead down to 25, I think the Cavs will start sweating.

Yeah I said in the G3 thread that I’d rather hand onto Bam….I take it back now. Not because I think any less of him (I don’t think I was ever under any illusion of him being a #1), but because this team needs a serious overhaul & he should net a pretty big haul. Herro, Duncan, & Wiggins without question need to gtfo.
