I don't think there's any conspiracy. Lebron just choked. The way Drake is getting clowned after the Kendrick beef was how Lebron was getting clowned after the Dallas final loss. I don't think he would sabotage Wade just to be a laughing stock for a full year. That loss was the lowest part of his career and probably one of the lowest in his life. People forget how hated he was, how much pressure he was under and how much the whole NBA fandom celebrated him & Miami getting embarrassed.

At that point I don't think there is anyway their careers move forward without Lebron having a better career than Wade. Lebron was obviously built for longevity and Wade wasn't. Larry Bird wasn't Finals MVP when he won his first ring and Curry wasn't Finals MVP during one of the Warriors championships. I don't think anyone is saying that has hurt either of their legacies.

That's not really my point. I'm just saying that 4 championships and 2 FMVPs looks a lot different up against 4 championships and 4 FMVPs. And again, that's assuming there's some type of surety that he wins again after 2011, which obviously he didn't have at that time. If he doesn't, LeBron has to look at Wade with 2 championships and 1 FMVP and he with 1 championship and 0 FMVP. He clearly made a business decision for his legacy in 2011 finals.

Again, considering LeBron was a primary ballhandler he could have taken matters into his own hands if he cared that much. Hiding in the corner just made it MORE likely Wade was gonna win FMVP (it's not like we were that far away from winning that series). But I am probably talking to someone who watches Joe Rogan.

The problem wasn't LeBron on offense, it was LeBron are defense. He suddenly could no longer guard Barea or Terry. But considering how personally you are taking this in your defense of LeBron, I think I know what this is.

My 2 sides:

Take 1-The Heat need a top of the league alpha to shift everyone to their correct roles offensively.

Take 2-Maybe Bam and Herro aint it.

Bam & Herro are who they are. They're not generational talents that are going to lead a squad to championships. They're good players though.

But then again, we have big bad contracts on the roster. Roster construction has been bad and Jimmy lead us to the finals despite that.

He fit perfectly with Bam's timeline. A core of Mitchell/Butler/Bam would have been right up there with the best in the East.

Both killed me. But the Weatherspoon one hurt more for me for some reason. We had just got done absolutely crushing the Pistons with Zo looking the best he ever had, really felt like he turned the corner as a player from a hothead to a more cerebral guy (better passing, less turnovers, was hitting his free throws and getting to the line a ton). Also knowing it was probably Timmy's last year as a prime time player with Anthony Carter outplaying him half the time.

And then seeing **** Mashburn, once again afraid of the moment, getting to do his Allan Houston impression but doesn't even LOOK at the rim, and immediately throws it to Clarence Weatherspoon of all people, who puts up the brickest of bricks. What a terrible ending to that 4 year saga. That was our year to get to the Finals and get crushed by the Lakers (yeah I know but still, at least getting to the Finals would have been huge for this city).
