I think on a good team I’d rather have Bam than Randle. I think Bam over Julius is an upgrade for this Wolves squad. But I also think Julius is more willing to just be an offensive anchor, which is more needed for our woeful roster.

Bam plus Antman would make any team a contender.

Its arguable, but I think you're really discounting the pressure Randle takes off Ant. You have to guard him everywhere AND he's a great post player.

All that goes away with Bam. Changes their entire offense. You cannot tell me that the Wolves don't have the exact same problem on offense that we saw against Cleveland with both Bam and Gobert on the floor. They can just crowd the paint. Ant can get by his man far easier than anyone on our team could ever dream, but the spacing would still be completely off.

You don't really have to guard Randle from 3. He also makes a fair amount of bad decisions and isn't a great defender. I'm positive all impact stats will favor Bam, he's just much easier to fit on a championship roster. Being misused on this roster doesn't make him worse than **** Randle. I like Randle but that is insulting to Bam.

What about TMac?

T-Mac ruled. Maybe if he had a FO like the Heat back in the day he wouldn't be a meme. Sucks.

Grant Hill injuries had a big impact on prime T-mac. Dude had the potential for greatness with Hill.

How many firsts would it take for you to support trading Herro?

Random question. Anyway I'm not personally a fan of "blowing it up" for picks because I don't want to sit through another 07-08 type season, and "firsts" in a nutshell without knowing the team, protections, etc. means nothing. If you're hellbent on an answer, the more interesting hypothetical for me is "would you move Herro, Bam, whoever for x player or y player?"

Fair enough.

Truthfully, the idea of a full fledged rebuild makes me recoil but Id rather that pain then having to endure seasons like this one which has no redeeming takeaways.

Can’t believe we got the worst loss in this play offs… after seeing grizzlies okc game 1 (51 points) my first thought was hope we don’t get blown out like that… but to lose by 55 at home is just wow

So bad.

Passivity afflicted 85% of the roster.

Embarrassing loss. More pissed about the regular season than this series. Herro and Bam gotta do better than 8 games under 500. That is the biggest indictment of Herro and Bam as a core. They gotta be able to drive the team to a bit over 500. The pistons roster outside Cade is as$ and they were able to get to 44 wins.

I cant even put Bams stats to compare because hes been playing a lot of garbage minutes. At meaningful minutes hes at a triple single

Whose stats are those?

If they were Herro's I doubt they are after tonight. His statline and effort tonight were atrocious.

Randle is more willing to take shots he shouldn't. I don't see that as a positive.

Let me correct myself and overall I agree it’s not that close. I think Randle over Bam and this squad doesn’t even make the playoffs. But I think in this specific series, outgunned as we are, he probably out produces Bam. Actually nah, he’s had historically bad playoffs with the Knicks so even that’s not true.

Ok, I’m on board with anyone claiming Randle is better is just a hater.

Not really. Bam is a 3rd or 4th guy offensively, his biggest value is defense, he shouldn't be tasked with carrying an offense. It's okay too not everyone is a "bus driver" on offense to quote Charles Barkley. Everyone has their role and Bam is great at his, at least when he gets to play it. As for Herro, he's become a legit all-star so him not being a true first option isn't really a fair criticism cuz how many of those guys are there? Y'all are too hard on the guys, and tbh I'm pretty hard on Herro normally

Really, nobody on this roster is safe. Bam probably, but everyone else is fair game. Bam could be too for the right price (e.g. Giannis or someone).
