Not in 2022.

Outside of that season we’ve been in a dog fight for the playin spots. My point stands as to why people have been frustrated with his tinkering. He’s treating the regular season like development for the players and keeping the team fresh for a deep playoff run when we’ve needed to give more focus to the regular season than the past. I think fans have been overly critical of him but he’s also not perfect either.

That's the problem though. The roster given to him is a developmental team. We've been trying to develop our lottery picks to be a useful rotation player for years.

I have a feeling Golden State wins in 6, but loses tonight and wins in Houston.

Does anyone think that Aaron Holiday should get some burn tonight? He's been hot from 3 to end the season

He’s questionable, I wouldn’t be shocked if he sat. I think it would be a mistake but it wouldn’t surprise me.

He’s also heavily leaned on older 2 way players over developing those young lotto picks as well. Moody is a prime example of that.

Are 2 way players not developmental players themselves?

With jimmy returning, I wonder if they still go big and just replace kuminga with jimmy, or if they revert back to smallball with moody instead of post.

Post had a hand in the game 3 victory, but hou may be ready for gsw big lineup this time.

Incredible.

Incredible is right. Draymond's defensive (and offensive) IQ is other worldly. Weird tangent but in tennis there is a huge thing call anticipation....it essentially means you know what the players next shot will be BEFORE they make it. Draymond sees the next move before it's made.

I happen to think he his pound for pound the greatest defender in history. He guards every position and all of them, except center, he'll have the defensive advantage. Kind of sucks that 7 footers get the DPOY all the time when they can't guard three of the positions.

Was going to say the same thing, best defensive player I've ever seen. I remember seeing him lock up Chris Paul in playoffs during his second season and telling my friend he was the best defensive player in the league. I've never seen a guy his size dissuade players from driving to the rim without even having big shot blocking numbers. True sixth sense out there, it's been awesome watching him getting to team up with a similar minded dude like Jimmy.
I remember one play that i have still in my mind where i was amazed by his defensive impact.

It was against Indiana, it was a 3 against 1 fast break and he stopped it by himself without even jumping, without even running he just stayed in the appropriate passing lane at the appropriate time forcing the offensive player to just do nothing with the ball and just lose the possession.

Post was only starting to give the Warriors better spacing with Kuminga out there.

And because Houston was hiding Sengun on Moody. Starting JK and Post took that option away.

Curious to see if GS goes back to Curry, Podz, Moody, Butler and Green tonight with Jimmy's return.

He had some good moments against GS this season...I don't know why Houston has not gone to him with FVV struggling so much.

Not sure of the “best five” matchups here but if anyone has the data, which one has been more effective this series;

Rockets’ big big lineup

(Adams-Sengun-XXX)

Or

Warriors’ small ball

(Green at C-XXXX)

?

They destroyed Reed's rookie season and now they're toast.

He could've been the offense they desperately need.

i feel the Rockets will bring the defense early. Warriors trail by double digits at the end of the 1Q…

As a wolves fan I know GS is the more dangerous playoff team. But I'm rooting for them anyways cause I just wanna see it if the Wolves finish off LA. Like I want to watch that series, even if we would end up losing it.
