I will always defend Bam unless people are saying he's a superstar or something nonsensical like that. He should be taking shots at the rim mostly and then some 3s. Idk why they let him spam midrange, that's bad coaching. I agree it's frustrating but Spo used to operate better with him on offense, hence why his efficiency was much better.
Herro had a **** game but let's be honest none of us expected him to become an all-star atp so overall I'd say his season was a smashing success.

We need an offensive coordinator.
I think they just need someone to jump in when Spo is doing a system reboot and make a decision. I see this all the time, decision paralysis. He is an exceptional planner, perhaps one of the all time greats, but when his plan suffers a deviation he ends up doing the dumbest stuff. A great leader recognizes their weaknesses. I don’t mind people calling me out on stuff and I make a fraction of Spo’s salary. He should pay me for all this advice. Hit me up.
Youre hired.

I disagree with some of it (wouldn't even put Kobe on the same tier of LeBron in terms of ATG's) but I'm in no mood to defend Herro or Bam. Both were dreadful this series. But if it makes you feel better, Herro was clearly worse in this one, where the whole team just collectively said "f it" from the beginning of the night (they at least competed for 5 minutes in game 3).
Oh idc either, I’m just doing what I told you earlier. Calling out nonsense, theyre both dead to me at the moment

They’ve got to tinker Bams shot diet over the summer like they did Tyler and we have to get a legitimate playmaker to run a 2 man game with him Ware and even Herro

So durant or giannis would rather come here?
Trae Would def make this team a lot better and he’s more realistic then durant or giannis who are pipe dreams

I don't want KD. Only because of his age obviously' he's a legend and normally I'd love to have him but at 37 I'm terrified he'll become a scrub at any point.

Cleveland won the four games by a combined 122 points. The previous record: a 121-point combined series win in five games by Denver over New Orleans in 2009.

Another thing on Bam/Randle (which is complete nonsense I can’t even believe this is being discussed) you all keep saying “ahhh well Bam as a 2nd/3rd option compared to Randle you obviously want Randle blah blah blah” you all do realize we have seen them in similar roles and Bam was making finals runs and eliminating Randle on his way to the finals with them playing basically the same role correct? We bounced them in 6 in a series they were favored over us and that’s with our best player missing a game (we got cheated that game too at the end if you remember). You also realize Bam was the lone big battling all 3 of Randle, Robinson, and Hartenstein correct? You all also remember Bam switching onto Brunson in the 4th quarter of game 6 and eliminating him from the game. He also clamped Randle in the elimination game where Randle shot 3-14.
Bam in less seasons than Randle has played in 4.5x as many playoff games as Randle, he’s won over 2x more playoff games than Randle has even played in. Bam is one of the best defender of this generation, Randle rarely plays defense and has a bad reputation as a bad attitude player who only plays one end of the court. Get real.

The clearest example of what we should have done is the Warriors when it comes to assistant head coaches. They actually spend money and hire the best assistant money can buy. The knew Kerr was a first time coach and their is no salary cap on coaches so they got the best assistant head coaches to help him reach his peak as a head coach. Not let’s promote Chris Quinn instead of hiring the best assistant coach money can buy. (No idea if Quinn is good etc just using him as an example). This also forces new ideas and personalities not just defense first, middle, last thinking. It won’t cost us any picks or assets other than money, it’s such a simple move that can pay off in dividends.

We used to have a good stable of coaches. Dan Craig, Fizdale, Juwan were all viewed favorably across the league at some point. As Spo has gotten more seniority so has his autonomy over the staff, hence him bringing in all of his players

Wow they kick the hell out of us. Why we needed this play-in win for the love of god.
This team can't stay this way, the front office can't stay this way. I prefer to rebuiled instead of being a play IN team year after year.
We need a super star like a Another Wade.
I hope they finally wake the hell up. Stop paying the Duncan Robinsons of the world 25 MIL per year. Just stop the embarrassment.

We don't have any player you can build a team around. All of our guys 2nd or 3rd options. You need a #1 that you can form a roster around.

First, there is no way around it and and is my biggest knock on the front office, spo And bam...RRR3 wrote:I will always defend Bam unless people are saying he's a superstar or something nonsensical like that. Offensive challenges not met
in all probability...it was a spo problem...The the front office mishandled for many years And in my view it screwed up bam... Who in turn was at fault because he didn't say when

I agree that it’s those intangibles the Heat aren’t doing that is costing them. I understand Riley has a 4 decade old view of bringing on vets to win games, but they need to invest in some innovation. Not every problem with a team is solved by trading for a Rozier, Wiggins, or Kyle Anderson.
Proud embarrassment

Solomon Hill would've put up a better fight than most heat players currently on the roster.
