Re: Warriors vs Rockets - Game 4
Draymond was being stupid in the first half, getting baited into a tech and potentially a second tech as well as a lot of bad fouls.
Though that tech on Green and Curry was BS.
But he almost lost it for the Warriors just like he lost the regular season game where Curry only scored 3 points.
Fortunately the role players shot well for a changed Podz, Post, Buddy.

I think they are quite fine letting Sengün take a lot of shots that he converts at poor efficiency.
Sengun is not a very efficient scorer...I don't mind him putting up numbers like he did tonight.

I can't believe they didn't foul there... that shot looked good the entire way. I thought he made it.
I really did think he made it when the ball was in the air. Just grab him at half court
It's not nearly as easy a decision as you guys make it out to be. Instead of a relying on them missing a difficult 3, you rely on being able to keep Adams and Sengün off the boards after an intentionally missed FT (or did they have a foul to give?). Plus there's the risk of being called for a shooting foul if you're just a bit late or FVV sees the foul coming. Neither decision is obvious and free of risk.
Fair enough. Getting a rebound would be really tough.

Probably because Moody's scoring, what little he does, has cratered. He averaged 13 ppg and 39% 3-pt the first five weeks after the Butler trade. In the 20 games since, he's averaged 6.9 ppg and 30.1% 3-pt, with 15 of those 20 games being with single-digit scoring.

It really is crazy that we got nothing out of 3 lottery picks and we’re supposedly trying to win a title.

NO idea how Warriors won this game. Absolutely crazy. Thank god for Jimmy taking over to get the win. And to be fair, there was a stretch of turnovers that made the Warriors look really crappy....especially Curry. But he can't carry the team every night.
I'm exhausted....go Warriors...

Imagine how good we'd be if we had drafted Ant Man (trade up) or Okongwu + Haliburton (trade down), plus Wagner and Murphy. Or hell, even just 2 of them. Sigh.

Steve Adams is a FA again this off season. We always say no way, not a fit, but there he is again killing us on the offensive boards, with me wishing he were on our side. He fits the 1 timeline model.

Adams would be a huge get in free agency

What's going to be Adams' price? The Warriors won't be able to take back a S&T player, and they won't be able to use the full MLE this next year. I doubt that the taxpayer MLE is going to suffice.

Tonight Jimmy was clutch, Podz played and shot great, Buddy looked solid, and the Rockets missed 12 free throws. FT's win or lose playoff games, which is one reason why he's Playoff Jimmy. All Houston had to do was make their FT's, and they failed. Looking forward to Wednesday night.

Kerr going with TJD on Sengun was rough. Sengun scored 17 points in 8 minutes in the 3rd when Dray subbed out. Kerr needs to go with Looney who is a good Sengun defender.
