The knew Kerr was a first time coach and their is no salary cap on coaches so they got the best assistant head coaches to help him reach his peak as a head coach. Not let’s promote Chris Quinn instead of hiring the best assistant coach money can buy. (No idea if Quinn is good etc just using him as an example). This also forces new ideas and personalities not just defense first, middle, last thinking. It won’t cost us any picks or assets other than money, it’s such a simple move that can pay off in dividends.
We've needed an offensive assistant since the big 3. I love Spo but he can't coach an offense. He can come up with plays but he's never had a system that maximizes talent.
