In theory, you're probably right, but past is not prologue in the playoffs. A team can grind out a victory in one series and then get rolling with greater momentum in the next series.

Mostly, every team needs to forge its identity by getting close playoff wins. These are necessary steps and it won't necessarily correlate that a hard fought series vs. the Pistons = domination by Boston.

We won the last game because we have two clutch stars that hit tough shots. In the playoffs, how you win is far less important than the fact that you won. Brunson and KAT are as clutch as anyone on the Celtics. That means we can win any close game against anyone.

If we play defense like we're showing we can then upsetting Boston is not a pipe dream. It's a reachable goal.

What if we are purposely playing slower in preparation for forcing the Celtics to play slower as well?

Maybe we want to lower the number of shot attempts and slow the game down?

I can't remember if it was JJ Redick's podcast, but Chris Paul talked about how his Rockets teams with Harden played their ISO-heavy ball on purpose in order to beat the Warriors, and they worked on it all year.

That doesn’t make sense except that if you make box out contact before the ball comes down, you would get the call

Still Tobias is impeding him from getting the ball, which I guess is legal as long as it’s brief?

They found all other calls correct except Hart fouling Timmy

 ok. well, **** them then.

we ready for the 5-on-8 smoke.

thanks for everything, thibs.

Beasley strikes me as unprofessional and you don't want that around your team.

Schroeder is a pain in the ass but he knows how to contribute to winning ball.

Too bad the fans dont appreciate him. I’ve seen it with Ewing, I’ve seen it with Melo and now Brunson. It never fails. Sad.

I wonder what will happen if Clyde plays in this era...

Watch this Sham...Jalen Brunson has single handedly set records since they started tracking clutch player stats 28 years ago.
The numbers in his young career are sick!

Schroeder for the TAX MLE next season would be just fine by me.

Then, we could use Mitch/Deuce in a trade.

Josh Hart is a super smart offensive player (despite his lack of shooting) but he can really be a dumbass on defense.

Leaving his post to chase rebounds, fouling 3-point shooters, etc.

I hope it doesn't cost us a series in the future but he has it in him to commit a silly foul at the wrong moment. We dodged a bullet the other day.

He needs to play smarter on defense.

He’d be one of the best bench players in this league……………

Since you said this and I have now witnessed the sham curse in its full glory, I have no doubt Thibs will be arrested on RICO charges as the surprising leader of the Trinitarios.
