I think they all would. I might ship the entire Villanova connection for him and try to contend with Towns, OG, Giannis frontcourt - it’s pure fiction obviously. We won’t be involved because our players are approaching 30. It’s not even a matter of picks in our case.
Cavs should do that, OKC should - without any doubt, Houston wouldn’t even blink. For Boston it would mean a Holiday, White, Tatum, Giannis, Porzingis lineup. You think they’d even have second thoughts? No way man, brown is overpaid anyway. There are even more teams out there with below 25-year-old trade chips - imagine Orlando sending out Wagner, Carter and Suggs. You’re probably right about Kuminga and Podziemski, but the Warriors have even more assets and they would all be on the table. Maybe not enough, but anyway.
They would all line up. Giannis is in his prime and you know he is that good.
Will have to see. A lot of those teams are pretty young, so I don’t think they are in a rush to trade for an aging Giannis. You do have a point with Boston though. They are prob a dark horse contender to get Giannis. In terms of winning, I think we’re the team that makes the most sense for Giannis. Imagine a core of Giannis, OG and Brunson.
Sure. I just tried yo look at it from Milwaukee’s perspective. Wouldn’t they ask for Brunson instead and should we even balk? More importantly, there is much more in it for them. They wouldn’t want 30-year-olds.
Let’s look at OKC just for fun and imagine they get upset and do not win the championship this year after that type of season. To me there’s no doubt they’d go all in on Giannis (and if they sent Chet Holmgren, maybe Wallace, Hartenstein and all those picks, they’d get him).
SGA, Caruso, Dort, Williams, Giannis - good night, NBA.
