It is ok, Varsho just fell over but still caught the ball hit to center field and everyone is jacking themselves off over it. Moral victory for us

Top 5 payroll in the league and more than half the lineup are .200 hitters with 0 power, with one of the worst farms as well.

Recovery was amazing on what should have been a routine catch.

Francis is on pace to give up over 50 homeruns this season, pretty impressive stuff.

Leave it to Shatkins to build the worst team money can buy.

10-2, this is quite a performance. 2 runs on a single hit and 4 hits total. How long do we have to be the most inept offensive team before we see some changes jfc.

we should trade Francis to the team that plays us the most in the remainder of the season.

ofc he becomes an ace and would be a guy who no-hits the Jays.

honestly i rather have the more fun, top offensive teams in the L, most likely to lose in the first round, type of team than the defense first 0 offense playoff missing team that we currently have,

ya the subpar team build has been indicative that nothing is working. no matter how much they bring 1 guy in, like Soto, it probably changes nothing about the rest of the team.

Randle McMurphy wrote:Fire them.

Why fire the guys that extended one of the most elite two-way offensive and defensive catchers in the league, and "the Power Bat" of Kirk for 5 more seasons at 58 million? Why fire the guys that acquired Mike Trout 2.0, and the best outfielder in the league in Varsho along with the "Power" and impact he provides? Why fire the guys that took on almost 100 million from Cleveland to acquire a big-time WAR guy with the defensive prowess of Gimenez at Second Base? Why fire the guys that traded Teoscar Hernandez for Swanson, which was the "Rational Move" at the time to bring in a better defender with Springer in RF? Why fire the guys that signed a quality free agent like Santander which was going to turn out pretty well in 2025?

How about showing some patience since it is not even May yet. This team is built on Run Prevention, and Pitching and Defense. It will eventually in due time be a team of 9 Varshos with great "WAR" numbers. Do not abandon the vision of the team which you supported in the past, carried out by this great front office when it is still early in the baseball season. You said last year, that this team was going to win 85 to 90 Games. The roster is much better in 2025 than 2024. No reason why your prediction of 85 to 90 Wins will not happen this year. It is all about showing patience since it is still early.

Remember this FO dissed the previous one for selling the farm so we could watch Bautista/JD/EE/Tulo lineup score 5+ runs in their sleep? Instead we could sell our farm to watch 6 Ryan Goins and a HOF batter when games become meaningless

Most of that was spent on pitching. If you’re going to mention payroll than highlight the starters(Berrios,Bassit,Gausman).

I'm pretty done with Bichette at this point lol he hasn't hit a homerun in like 300 PA's and is still abysmal defensively. Any team that gives him 250+ is gonna regret it.

Heads need to roll. How has this been allowed to go on for so long?

But but but... I thought Varsho coming back will instantly makes us an elite offensive and defensive juggernaut. What happened? I thought Varsho was the answer!?

I thought that fat bastard of a catcher who couldn't outrun or outhit my dead grandmother will earn his extension?

I thought Gimenez will float in the air and stop homeruns mid air..

These are the predictions Randle made.. he's never wrong!!

Return to Toronto Blue Jays
