Re: PG Indy - Turn out the lights
I went outside and shot around when the game went to overtime because I knew the Bucks would choke and was too aggravated at that point to even watch.
I just watched the overtime and I am actually kind of creeped out by my intuition. Geez. That was a next-level choke, when I went outside I never thought it would be that bad. I thought Giannis would just brick some free throws or maybe someone would brick an open shot late in the game.
Even if the Bucks were a tier 1 contender, if you choked that hard to end your season, I feel like you would almost have to gut the team.
I know the Bucks didn't actually do it on purpose. But almost seemed like the Bucks had it in the bag, but wanted to get an early start on their vacation and let the Pacers win.

Don’t blame me. I wanted Nick Nurse.

Re: PG Indy - Turn out the lights
I only watched the 4th quarter and turned it off. I'm glad to see the starting lineup the way it was. Better late than never I guess. But this season needed to end. And I say this as someone who has been watching almost every game since 2004. I'm fine with losing seasons, but this season just felt too uncomfortable to fathom. I don't see us being able to do much, but maybe owners would agree on getting a new coach. Essentially we need to play how other teams play. The obvious is playing the right lineups and playing a winning style of basketball from the tip. Also, it hurts when you're paying guys very good money who can't play in the playoffs.

We'll all be back. We always are. It'll just take a while to get through, and I imagine most of us won't be watching much basketball for a while (at least not Pacers games).

Sidenote, is Kuzma the only player to not up his game playing alongside Giannis?

Also pretty sure that blonde woman in that clip practically smacking Giannis in the butt with the towel on the last inbounds is Hali’s mom (based on her slapping Giannis on the arm from the other clip). What a garbage family.

Bobby Marks just put up a subtweet of the Giannis being humble tweet by the Bucks, where Bobby pulled out the “ive won a championship, they haven’t” quote
Then he deleted it.

Just watched highlights. What an trainwreck ending. Yikes. Fitting I guess, sadly.
Glad I missed it live.

Giannis is an unusually insightful, respectful, good dude in a sports world that doesn’t emphasize the same values.
I’m not Giannis.
**** Marks.

For the guy talking about the giannis and mathturdin thing, he got in giannis face when he was at the free throw line in game 4 I think.

The easy answer in that situation was "Yes, absolutely." and leave it at that.

Perfect.
I'm quoting myself here because my initial reaction was wrong.
Those 5 guys played their asses off.
Too bad it took Doc as long as it did to recognize the lineup.
"This is my home, this is my city...I'm blessed to be a part of the Milwaukee Bucks for the next 5 years. Let's make these years count. The show goes on, let's get it."

aboveAverage wrote:I know we had a terrible end to the game, but I’m so proud of that group of guys that finished this game. So many guys stepped up. AJ Green is a legit playoff difference maker. That’s amazing. GTJ can go off like Steph in the playoffs (ideally as a bench SG in the future). Bobby worked his ass off. KPJ did really well in his first ever playoff series. Giannis ran through a brick wall to get that win.
I don’t see a group of guys that have given up on this organization. Make some smart moves this offseason, get a better coach, and let’s go again next year. I don’t care if we’re not title contenders. I just want to see that kind of heart and effort surrounding Giannis.
Trent should of been the starter from game 1 he lost his job to a injury absolute BS .Bucks win 2 or 3 more games minimum with trent in there instead of fu... ajax n prince

I can assure you if Doc remains coach of this team I will barely pay attention to more than a handful of games. I didn’t want to believe he was this bad. But he is, and worse. I typically catch 60-70 games a year. If he is around. Oof. Maybe 6-7, take the kids to one or two and watch the playoffs, if they make it.

Re: PG Indy - Turn out the lights
I hear you and all, but passing the ball to your best or 2nd best shooter who is completely unguarded is a very normal thing to do when running the clock out. It's not AJ's fault that Gary forgot how to use his thumbs in the biggest moment.tydett wrote:Fire everyone, let's figure this **** out with new staff. No reason for 3 NBA players to pass that ball with 17 **** seconds left and the Pacers needing to foul.
