Tatum and jb watchers are seething.

Struggled from the field (really from 3), but absolutely crushed it getting to the line and hit 'em all. 14/14 was pretty big. MUCH better at protecting the ball than he was last game, which had been a bit brutal.

Impressive performance. Game 3 wasn't bad either, I mean he was scoring well, he was just throwing the ball away. And he somehow got called for both palming and traveling violations, which is atypical and a bit sus. I think most people knew he was ready to go when he had that drive on Banchero, grabbed his own ORB and put it back for the and-1. Right headspace early on, and he had a bit of everything: threes, drives, that little Dirk fade on the right block, the drive into post into classic fade on the left side, the whole deal. Shot too much from 3 as he always does, but he mixed it up enough that it ultimately didn't matter.

Impressive game.

35/8/10, 10/16 from the field, 4/5 from 3, 11/11 at the line to close out the Magic. So after going 0/4 at the line in Game 1, he's now 37/37.

22, 9 and 7 from Tatum in Game 3. 5/9 from 3, but 3/11 inside the arc. Shot 8/20 overall, bringing him to 32.3 / 34.5 / 80.0 on the series, scoring 19.3 ppg on 43.7% TS. It's been about as bad a start to the series as you get from him so far, and that's with him posting 53.8% TS in Game 3. But at least the 3 started falling.

Boston's going to have to hope that they can do more of this going forward, or they will continue to have a grudge match with New York. But if the 3s fall like they did in G3, then they may actually just rip off a back door sweep.

I guess the real question is, do you do anything special? If nothing particularly impressive opportunity-wise comes along, do you just wait until Tatum comes back and see what you have?
