Wife’s birthday today and won’t be home until late. I’m going to try and sim the games between work and dinner and I’ll post when I get home late.

The Toronto Raptors withstood a 57 point onslaught from Joel Embiid to defeat the Brooklyn Nets 130-120 on the road at the Barclays Center to regain homecourt advantage.

The Raptors were down by three at the end of the opening quarter, but scored a whopping 50 points in the 2nd period to take control of the game.

Victor Wembanyama, Derrick White and Collin Sexton were the top scorers for Toronto, leading six Raptors in double-figures. Bol Bol continues to have a strong impact in limited minutes off the bench, leading all played from both teams in +/-, serving as a highly capable replacement for the injured Lu Dort.

Toronto hit 17 threes, connecting at a 50% clip in what proved to be the difference in the final outcome.

The Raptors have now taken a 2-1 series lead, with game 4 looming tomorrow in Brooklyn.

Collin Sexton led the team in scoring from off the bench and Rudy Gobert filled his line of the boxscore, leading six Raptors in double-figures.

The Raptors now have Brooklyn on the brink of elimination as they head back to Toronto for a close-out game 5 at home.
