Silver bent over backwards not to suspend Draymond that year. He deserved a suspension for the Adams kick and Silver gave him a pass. Him finally getting a suspension against wasn't Cleveland getting a gift it was Silver finally deciding to enforce the rules.

Few players in NBA history got away with more than Dray

Draymond earned all the flagrants leading up to that moment but the teabag tickle was a joke and everybody knows it.

Reed Sheppard coming in to turn the tide.

It's also playing with fire. Putting all your eggs in game 6 puts a lot of pressure on them, and as we saw in the play-in, you don't want to leave your fate on 1 game. You also don't want to come back to Houston in game 7 after losing two in a row.

Or you put all your eggs in this game, Jimmy reinjures that pelvic, or Steph tweaks an ankle.

Warriors will be embarrassed this game but they are still the big favorites in Game 6 and the series.

Obviously at some point you call it (they'll sit the entire 4th), but calling it in the 2nd quarter is a bit too defeatist imo.

Do you think Dray deserved a suspension for Adams?

Smart thing to do.

They'll be well rested and finish at home.

It's gonna look pretty bad for Kerr/Warriors if they don't close it out in Game 6.

I don't think it will be this lopsided but I think Lakers control it tonight. I think Minny rages game 6 though and that is a dogfight that Minnesota wins. Thats purely speculation. I also would have never beat on Lakers getting swept by Denver so I know nothing.

Quitting midway through the third when its a 27 point game sounds crazy in the modern NBA.

Seemed s bit early but if you don't have it on a night and your team is old likely the smart move in this case. A young team like Houston that is a huge mistake but the old warriors makes sense. plus they are a team used to ups and downs of a series.

It won’t. Risking injury to your stars in what is already a decided game is playing with fire.

Kerr is smart for this and Warriors are better off losing this insignificant game.

In the current NBA a 25 point lead isn't an insurmountable one. Maybe it won't but I don't think they are so much better than the Rockets that they can afford to give away games

No one is saying the Rockets suck (say like a Grizz or Heat level). They are a worthy 2nd seed and will likely he just 3 or 4 underdogs the next game.

Still, this happens in all of sports— you lose sone games, you win some. At the end of the day, you need 4 wins, and the smarter teams can pick their spots unless you’re the Thunder, Cavs or Celtics where the advantage is just overwhelming.

My favorite comparison is always tennis.

A player is leading the set 5-3 (these are the Warriors with a 3-1 series lead) with a chance for a break point and win the set (and game).

The opponent is serving and raced to a 30-0 point lead. The player is good enough to try to comeback this point, but he knows he’s serving next. Will he try to full 100% here or the next game on his serve?

Either decision has risks and the Warriors tonight decided that putting their 40 year olds in danger is worse longterm (or the entirety of the series)

The way they're just almost having a party on bench while effectively throwing a game... Is mildly infuriating

Like 4 days ago we watched the Clips come back from down 22 in like 6 min. This is the new NBA...inexcusable to just give up in the middle of the third quarter

I don't know why the commentators are calling game with 9 mins left being down 20. All it takes is one run
