Gabe is already playing his usual minutes. And if you think Knecht is going to be net neutral defensively I don't know what to tell you.

Read again and read carefully. Knecht is the one with the porous defense referred to. Gabe is the net neutral.

Gabe is already playing, and Knecht is more porous defensively than Reaves while being a considerably worse creator, so I'm not sure what he's supposed to be adding here.

and sure enough Gabe is now playing the 4th quarter so even JJ validates it's worth a try

Gabe featuring more is enough

Vando trying to finish over Rudy Gobert is high comedy.

This man really sent the Lakers into the playoffs with Jaxson Hayes as the only rotation big.

LeBron has basically been invisible in this game since mid 3rd qtr and that's held true for most of this series. People who think he can still be a #2 guy on a contender are simply not watching the games. He's just old.

As active as Lebron was defensively and thr glass games 2-4; he's hasn't been that at all tonight. On top of looking real pedestrian offensively. Just not good enough.

Lebron has missed multiple block-outs this quarter. Stuck in mud

Relying on him to be your defensive tone-setter at this stage is crazy work.

Season on the line and this guy is still bitching to the refs on a fast break.

Coming off two (now three) straight postseason exits losing to size Rob at the start of the season said he wanted to wait on Wood and Hayes to get healthy to evaluate the needs at the 5. Then proceeds to waive Wood anyway, do the Mark Williams trade after so long and still cancel it anyway, then proceeded to sign Jemison and not even upgrade him to a full contract. No respect for positional fundamentals in building a team. Probably played this lineup on his 2k save and thought it would translate irl.

Bron ain't that good anymore. Simple as that. He should be a third option, but his pride won't let him

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

Rui was the only starter who had any pop tonight. Everyone else was a step slow to everything

It's been an amazing career, LeBron, but this season (and this series) marks the end of him as a Top 10 player. I don't see Lakers contending if he's one of their top 2 players in the future.

Yeah but did you see his sick alley oop highlights? Sure hope teams continue to leave those lanes open in the playoffs; Rob, probably

Minny went 7-47 from 3 and completely controlled the game. On the Road!

As a matter of fact; outside of game 1 they haven't really made 3's and still won in 5.

Not having a C is the issue guys

Luka is a #1

I think Bron can still be a #2

But you need solid defenders and shooting

For sure trading Vando, Gabe, and Maxi. 34m of nothing

We have a 1st, swaps, and Knecht to move

I’d contemplate a Reaves or Rui move, but I would address C and trade others first

Doing too much, such as the Russ deal, killed us last time

Not having a C

Or a quality bench

Or any two-way players beyond post-prime DFS

And that's not getting into the questions around LeBron and Reaves

Apart from that it's all good!

Was a good run , he’s probably best as a 3rd option at this point
