Never. Things don't click out the freaking blue. Thibs did do some things to adjust and get KAT the ball, but it's a loose and half-assed operation, so they reverted back, as we basically knew they would.

Again, if he's sitting there forgetting to call timeout, and the assistance coaches are not managing it either, at least enough to get his attention, then what do you think is going on behind closed doors or in the overall management of the team?

It doesn't work like that. If you see obvious bad things that nobody is supposed to be able to see, but then we do, there are a lot of other bad things you can't see.

And this should be much different, not just a little bit. It should be a free-flowing offense with constant motion and passing, Brunson should play stretches of the game as a threat from the corners, and everybody and their mums should curl, curl, curl. We don’t even see a single clean high pick and roll between our two best players. Why? Because Hart can’t shoot, so they use him as a screener. It’s stupid.

It will be interesting to see whether Rigid-Tom will take a page out of the Minny playbook and play Mitch more. Everyone witnessed Rudy completely demolishing the Lakers and the Wolves winning despite breaking some record on negative 3-point shooting. Rigid Tommy himself can't make any adjustments and he is scared to do so because he is a scared coach so I don't expect anything drastic. But the Lakers-Wolves game may have some in the coaching staff pressuring him into playing more Mitch.

Hope we lose by 50 so we get Thibs out of here next season. A series win might extend the rope and prolong our misery. End this madness already!!

It's just an eyesore, watching these skilled, talented players go out there and play in an offense that treats them like scrubs. Rebound! Defense! Hustle! Ok...what about using the rest of their attributes.

This team is led by a guy who is so unimaginative, that he couldn't tell one of his guys to knock the ball off a Piston player so he could sub in Brunson and Hart. He stood there like a bleached whale while they went back and forth saving a time out, because even calling a timeout in that moment wasn't in his template, it was a decision he had to make from his gut, an actual in game at the moment adjustment, which he can't do. No, let me just let the most clutch player in the league, the guy who literally just saved my ass two nights ago, stand around for over 2 minutes to end the game because I have something I might not need to win, but I don't want to use it for someone I absolutely do need to even attempt to win. Absolute genius.

Celtics in 5.

This is what kills me. It's not even Cade talking sh*t, it's their ham and egger roleplayers!!!! Where is your pride??? Where is your rage!!!!? :banghead:

NOW I miss Donte. He would have been in these dudes faces telling them to shut their asses up. The only one who actually fought back physically so far this series was KAT!!!

Sorry for the exclamation points, GA I assure you I am not taking your calling card, I'm just pissed

Beasley is a liability to them.

I do agree about Donte though. He was a sparkplug that the team rallied around.

Donte was a spark plug but his postseason numbers were also kinda bad for us. It’s just that he hit big shots.

I'm not trying to romanticize Donte. He's shooting like garbage and if he was on this roster shooting like that the sentiment towards him from folks on here would not be kind

I just miss the aggression. The current squad lets these guys talk with no repercussions. I hate that. Someone should have already knocked Schroeder and Beasley on their asses. KAT was the only one to show any fire and as a reward the team reverts back to stagnant ISO ball instead of getting him going by any means.

Tf does PJ have a roster spot for? Leon's feet are gonna feel hot this summer.

i think it's time for a lineup change. the starting lineup has a negative net rating since january 1st. it just doesn't work. not that there's great options but play two bigs or play duece. do something. i just don't need to see this anymore.

I'll take 41/42/86 over the trash Deuce is providing.

Donte and Deuce are putting up nearly the same horrible efficiency in the post season :-?

The time to do that was well before the playoffs. We've said this about the starting 5 and Tom hasn't changed anything despite the data saying that this line up can't play together.

It is what it is now unfortunately. He's not gonna start Mitch over Josh.

Teams need to pay attention to Donte. Detroit don't give a **** about Deuce. And Donte's defense has been better than Deuce. 5 steals in Game 4 in a game they won by 3. He's much more impactful on the stat line itself.

Then force your players through. I don’t know, I don’t believe Detroit could hold it down. They’re basically scrubs. Thibs allows it and seems intimidated by a couple of blocks they get here and there.

I wanted us to inquire about Stewart - for our bench.

If Kolek had been getting a consistent chance to play all season maybe, but throwing him into the fire now seems like malpractices to me.

Kolek. Wright. We saw positives from these guys when they got time, but it doesn't matter.

If Thibs had any ability to alter his core philosophy, we would take a page from Willis Reed, start Brunson & Hart on the bench- say they were game time decisions, go the first half with out them, and then have them play the entire second half of the game.

But, Detroit is the hungrier team. The Knicks look tired. They have no extra gear left to go to. They’re probably outperformed to win the three games they have, but Detroit has slowly gotten the playoff jitters out of their system and are now hitting their stride while we are fading.

Hope I am wrong. I don’t think Detroit can win 3 straight, but the Knicks can lose 3 straight!

This is main problem...hard to win a fight when you're less motivated than your opponent. We have to ask why Detroit is so confident despite being far less talented--it's because they sense we are already defeated, they are together and know we are not.

how many dramatic exits are we getting exactly?

Dramatic exits? I never said I was going anywhere. None. Try again.

The team is going nowhere as well with this HC. Why waste another minute of life watching this inept fool squander away these dudes careers?
