Amen defence consisted of pushing curry whenever he was dribbling the ball leading yo curry missing the dribble Another example of kind of defence allowed. All contact is allowed on steph curry including karate chops on injured hand of steph, and this is a basket ball play ?;. It might be a good statergy to have a karate black belt in the
...om chop at the hands of openings.

True, it's not hard to see on replays.

Good thing Steph does not whine like the Warriors fans. He knows it’s part of the game and there is no other way but to play through it. Props to Steph but no props to soft NBA fans.

Yeah, agree. Won't get any sympathy from rockets fans when dray did it much worse to hardens wrist in 2017 playoffs and no one cared. Dray was karate chopping his wrist when he didn't even have the ball. Then admitted to it. Then that whole series where he kept hitting harden in the nuts and targeting his eye.

You forget 3 blocks and 5 steals. Maybe Amen watched that 2017 series where dray did this to hardens wrist. This stuff is nothing compared to that series. You can find highlights of dray literally punching at hardens wrist when he didn't have the ball. Then eye pokes and nut taps. Dray even admitted to targeting harden back then. So unfortunately this is nothing new. It's just role reversal so you notice it more.

That is exactly how the Warriors play defence. Lots of pushing, grabbing and hand checking plus lots of illegal screens.

You would think with how loudly Warriors fans are shouting about the physicality, that it's just completely one sided thuggery while they're just playing pristine, perfect defence

I don't agree trying to hurt other players is part of the game.

If you look at what Kerr said, he wasn't complaining about the action (nor was I) he's objecting to the rule that allows marginal contact against the shooter after the ball is released. It's entirely up to the refs what "marginal" contact is, and players will push it to the limit. Especially when there's an injury they can go after. According to Kerr all 30 coaches dislike that rule, and the way it's enforced, and he expects it will be changed this summer.

Thanks for the clarification. See, even Warriors fans and Rockets fans can…no, wait, die a thousand deaths you Gilded **** Worriers fans! To the death! (Or at least hopefully Game 7.)

Yes, so hopefully Warriors fans should be like Kerr (and Steph) too. No whining, no complaining and that "strategy" is part of the game with *some* players taking advantage of it. Will the refs call it or interpret it as more? Maybe, maybe not. But for now, it's all legal and the Rockets players will continue to take advantage, bend the rules.

reminds me of that gsw/Memphis series a few years ago where gsw were up 3-1 going into Memphis and they didn't try in game 5 and lost by 40 because they knew they'd close em out in golden state for game 6

Yeah... I feel like having Draymond on your team kinda puts a damper on anything GS fans have to say. It's just the way it goes.

Draymond may or may not have done it, but steph has had to face it then and is still is but never gets the calls like Harden

I'll be rooting for the Rockets, mostly because I don't want Draymond potentially injuring a Wolves player next round.

Easy dub for the dubs. Warriors win in blowout fashion.
