Of course, that's the likelihood for now.

Lebron can play for $0.01 or whatever his veteran minimum is.

"Old school bull"
"Big-time bully"

James Worthy 4/30/25 describing a playoff series performer.
Julius Randle just helped Minnesota eliminate the Lakers, 4-1.

TWO PEOPLE I RESPECT THE MOST specifically said you can't win in the playoffs with players like Randle. He's primarily an offensive player.

P.S. Rudy Gobert helped with 27 points, 24 rebounds.

The Rockets pulled out a win tonight to stay alive 2-3 against the Warriors. (Officials robbed Houston one game)

Alperen Sengun, also supposedly not winnable in the playoffs, had 15/9/9/2/2 on 6/9fg.

The Lakers are out, like I said, a healthy Mavericks team has a better chance to be more competitive than the Lakers in the West.

Rui was the best player on the Lakers last night. I'm not a fan of Reddick. He refused to play any big men. Julius Randle and Gobert were feasting. Gobert looked like a giant out there.

Hindsight is 20/20, but the Lakers probably should have let that trade for Mark Williams go through.

Reaves/Luka/Lebron don't play defense. When 60% of your lineup is a traffic cone on defense, it's a recipe for disaster. Will be interesting to see what the Lakers do this offseason. They got $56 million in expiring contracts to throw at a team.

Lakers don't have a FRP this year. They also have 2
huge contracts that will constrain them.

I used to not like LBJ at all when he was young.
And I used to root Lakers back in the Kareem/Magic
days against the Keltics. That's reversed a bit.
I still can't figure out how they got Doncic.

Seeing Gobert dominate like that makes me wonder
what Maluach will be like 5 years from now.

He doesn't have a center. He had no choice but to play centerless ball. They couldn't score with Jaxson Hayes in the game. Hayes had a -26.1 on/off differential in the playoffs.

Better Hayes than Maxi Kleber. Gobert looked like a man amongst boys out there

They brought in C Alex Len who was not injured as-far as I know, why let Rudy go off like that unopposed? You gotta at-least give it a shot.

Probably a silly question and noting AntMan had
a sub par game last night, but are there any Edwards doppelgängers this year? VJ? Tre? Ace?

Weirdly enough, Hayes had a positive plus minus in games 2 and 4.

The Lakers couldn't stop blaming Darvin Ham for last year's failings. This season, JJ Reddick has a much more talented team.

I'm also not a fan. Dude put Max Kleber on the court at C!?!

This Wizards team could use Rui at SF/PF.

Tommy Sheppard drafted two good players in Hachimura and Avdija.

Rui had a great game for 9 of 16 from the field with 23 points. I still think Luka had a better game though given that Rui only had 4 rebounds and zero assists. Lebron did not have a good game though for his standards.
