Yankee fans wanted Holmes out of the closer role for the longest yet it took Cashman and Boone more than a couple of years to realize that Yankee fans were right all along.

Anthony Santander is playing like doo doo. Glad the Yankees didn't go after him.

Honestly, he might be pressing and he's gonna probably bounce back but this is what his decline will look like, considering he's not a high walk guy or a high average guy or even a good defender.

I'm happy with him so far. Lowest hits allowed in the league I think. Just needs to get his mental under control.

Still can't trust him in a big spot, he still homer prone. A$$man should trade him if given the chance.

How many more times are we going to see this team allow a mediocre offense to have an inning in which they score 4 or 5 runs? Yes, our offense can be underwhelming especially if they're not hitting homeruns, but 3 or 4 runs should be enough to beat a struggling bottom feeder like the Baltimore Orioles. I am so sick of having to watch guys like Warren, Carrasco, Stroman and others in our pitching staff put us in an early hole in which we never recover from.So many winnable games this year were either loss because of Devin Williams' meltdowns or our depleted rotation.

Max Fried is a stud. Also Luke Weaver has been on absolute tear too...he's only allowed 3 hits all season. Feel like someone deserving is gonna get snubbed on the Yankees for the all star game.

Judge
Fried
Weaver
Goldschmidt
Rice

I'd even put Grisham there at this point.

Devin Williams slowly putting himself back together. Vivas had a good debut...2 walks. I'll take that from the 9 spot anyday.

Disappointed that Judge only went 2-4 with a double and triple...I'm nervous for him for the postseason but he always seems so superhuman during the regular season and the guy only keeps improving. Praying for health.

May's starting and Judge has a slash line of .430/.521/.777.

Judge is unreal, I have never liked him batting 2nd IMO. I have always liked him batting 3rd, yes it doesn't make a difference to Judge individually batting 2nd or 3rd because he's that good, but I do think it makes a difference in the balance of the lineup.

Another game in which our joke of an offense makes a scrub with a 5 ERA look like Steve Carlton on the mound.

Boone treating Mark Leiter Jr as if he were '96 Mo Rivera has to be good example of insanity.

I am sure that if Tim Hill was the son of Rich Hill Boone would have had him start the inning.

Guys like Mark Leiter Jr and Pablo Reyes put the Yankees in the best possible situation to finish the season at 84-78.

Boone getting his **** pushed in by Kevin Cash once again and I'm supposed to get excited and fall for this trap that Cashman and the Yankees put the fanbase in every year.

Losing a playoff series to the Rays should be a fireable offense in itself. That was with Cole on the mound, the Covid year was an excuse that year just like the Cole injury will be the excuse this year.

What a bright future the Yankees have with their young pitching.

8 K's for Warren in less than 5 innings of work?

I can't wait to see what other future aces Cashman will call up from the minors.
