Vanvleet has been shooting the lights out these last couple of games. You don't want him to get going again and make Game 6 a close one.

Chris Porter's Hair wrote:The game was just stupid. The announcers kept saying stuff like, "The Warriors can't figure out what to do about this zone!" I was like, "... the thing to do is to make some of the open jumpers it is generating. If we can't make *any* open jumpers, then yeah... we're gonna lose. It isn't not knowing what to do. It is playing horribly."

But all of that aside, I've had plenty of reasons lately to say that defense wins championships. As horrific as our offense was, we still would have been at least in the game the whole time if we were playing any defense. But we were playing lousy defense, and even when we stepped up and played decent defense, they were hitting crazy shots. If you can't make any shots, you don't play any defense, and on the rare occasions you do play defense the other teams steps up, then that's a great way to lose.

The zone was also effective at keeping the Warriors from penetrating the lane and limiting GS to the perimeter shot they missed.

It's hard to know how much to take away from that dumpster fire but GS only has a couple of players who can get into the lane.

I've hated van fleet's face since the 2019 finals. Is it that hard to keep a body on him? It's not like he's overwhelmingly fast or athletic. Jeebus!!

Beyond the skill of the opponent.. Dubs are in a bit of trouble next round.. League may get behind Ant and Ant/Shai as the next face of the league.. in addition to not wanting Steph to get 5 before LeBron which changes ALOT.. Next few games into the round are going to be interesting..

If the league would favor MN over GSW, then wouldn’t the league be helping us now?

In order to get Ant the “I beat the old guard” merit badge?
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

apparently it is. me too don't understand how there's nothing they did so far to try to limit him. he's not kobe and he doesn't have any particular physical advanatge on our guards.

As great a story as Ant's coronation would be, I promise you the league would love nothing more than for Steph to win #5. They would absolutely not have any problem with that lol.
