After these last 2 years, I am waiting for a report to come out that Giannis will stay in Milwaukee.

Provided the Bucks retain Doc Rivers.

The only way it matters if Doc is back is if the Bucks tear the roster down. Can't have him coaching a bunch of young guys.

If it's Giannis, the returning FAs, and some exception FAs? Who gives a ****.

It’s the opposite for me, Giannis continuing to be coached by an idiot hurts his legacy. He doesn’t have as much basketball savvy as the average 30 something superstar so he needs a quality coach to facilitate team success.

The fact that they haven't announced that Doc is fired is ridiculous.

If the Bucks were planning on firing Doc anytime soon, they would have already done it.

Feels like Supreme really screwed her over coming up with Dairy Bird after all her work on AJ Automatic.

Agree but for a different reason. Doc has actually proven to be a decent floor-raiser with young and/or less talented teams. It's the talented rosters with expectations that he's destroyed.

ETA: I want him fired yesterday either way, to be clear.

Any Giannis trade has to be for a blue chipper like Flagg. We need a talent with big upside, plus buy ourselves some time to properly rebuild.

Amen Thompson is a nice player, but he’s not a franchise guy. This is a MVP candidate in his prime. We should be holding out for a top tier package.

Horst not winning a power struggle with Doc and it just being incompetence from the organisation would be the least shocking thing ever.

There are Rockets fans on the trade board who are adamant that Thompson can't be part of the package. I get being protective of your young guys and that's okay. But it means not getting Giannis.

Would you rather have Giannis & Doc OR Flagg, prospects, & just about any other coach? Go get the pitchforks...

If this is true, then I'd infer Horst has little latitude and the plan will be short-term in vision. Continued disconnect between coaching and the front office. Sucks, because I love watching Giannis play but this team will be wholly uninspiring for me next year (or years). Bummer.

Whole franchise feels stale and fragmented. Gross.
Doc in front office is better than doc as coach. But Ham is not the guy..

Is there any reality where we get the best shooting coach for Kuz and park him in the corner 3 spot... If we are stuck with him we gotta get him right

Doc in the front office just made one of the worst trades the bucks have ever done.

I don’t want him with the org in any capacity. Get rid of him.

the lineup we played our final game with makes me wonder....

if lopez/dame/kuzma can all be moved out or replaced for upgrades and we play the best we can with a modern style....new coach sure....and giannis trusts his teammates like he did that last game and at the end of the reg season.....we go smaller...faster....shooting..... moving the ball.....

i want to see that. i want to see what that looks like.

i think i sell him on that. if he bites we **** make this team better this summer. we dont abort. we make the team better.

Doc is still going to start Kuzmas and Princes if given the option.

That's great and all, but man, if the best piece we get out of a Giannis trade is Stephon Castle, I might have to take a break from the NBA.

Now you see the picture. Giannis could absolutely drag that team to the playoffs.

They may be more or less a second round ceiling team, but who knows exactly how it’ll all come together. Then next off-season, we’ll have 3 1sts, a swap, and a 58m expiring.

And, for you more specifically, since I know this is a complaint you’ve had, they’d be a fun team to watch.

Bring Jrue back this off season. Pat opts in, Kuzma and Pat for Jrue. Would Boston bite to get out of Jrues contract? I’d do that in a New York minute. I’m sure Giannis would approve.
