We will worry about Boston next week. We will worry about the offseason at the right time.

Today, im making plans in the month of May to watch knicks basketball. That’s what it’s all about.

We gave em three in a row…

Great win but once again JB bailed us out. Our offense was non existent for the majority of the 4th. KAT got ICEd out for the majority of the 2nd half. Our bench sucked once again. McBride has regressed. Payne has regressed. Mitch has regressed. Thibs refuses to play Shamet or go any deeper into the bench. 43+ minutes for JB, OG and Mikal. I could keep going on and on with all the negatives we saw this series. So ya awesome win! I said it before the game started that the players were going to win and overcome Thibs coaching. This is what we have been doing all season. Not sure if they can do the same against elite teams. They sure didn't show us they could during the regular season.

He said his favorite part of the season is the offseason. Not being in the playoffs or competing for a championship. Nope, the off-season is his favorite part. :nonono:

Underrated moment of last night, the Knicks actually coming out before half time to do pregame layup lines, it actually worked to keep them warm and ready for the 2nd half. Shoutout to coach Mikal

Do they come back a better team with a healthy Jaden Ivey? Or should they trade Jaden Ivey for a star player in his mid/late 20's?

Cunningham, Duren, and Thompson are definitely worth giving another season together. Most of the vets they have are interchangeable, though it is admirable how much they gave the team. I don't know if Hardaway, Beasley, Harris, and Schroder collectively have another great season like this in them.
Let Ivey come back and keep rocking. They didn't have Stewart, either. They're damn good. Cade spend the summer shooting threes and we don't ever beat them again.

What is he doing different than Riley or Van Gundy? Every game was close and he won 4 out of 6. He won the coaching battle.

Detroit is a damn good team. They have shooting which we lack, length which we lack. They have the basis for a rock ribbed defence and they're young. They were a tough matchup for anybody except maybe the Celtics.

Thibs was above average. He was not exceptional. You're going to find very few exceptional coaches out there that are experienced enough for this window. Those guys (Budenholzer, Malone, Jergins) are getting fired left and right because players don't want to play for them.

Enjoy stability and let it grow.

Once Cade gets his 3 point shot together and Ivey and Stewart heal up, I'm scared of y'all. Cade is a beast and the rest are tough-nosed. Replace Hardaway with Ivey, get another vet wing who can actually make shots .... yikes.

I'm just thrilled we won man. As much as I don't think this team is playing at its full capacity scheme wise. I still want to win. Franchise has had so many losers over the yeras we have a lot of likeable guys to root for.

Not even going to think of the Celtics tonight...just want to enjoy this one. I also glad we don't have to go 7 games...after nearly almost collapsing there don't think my heart could have taken another close game...all 6 games were pretty much identical.

Yeah losing to the pistons would have been a bit embarrassing, no disrespect to them they played a hell of a series. Wouldn’t be any shame if we lose to the defending champs, but I want to win. Maybe this is their last run before they have to blow it up and they go out with a whimper.

PIstons played there ass off but there is no excuse to lose a series with a teams 2nd, 3rd, and 4th players are Tobias Harris, Tim Hardaway Jr, and Dennis Schroder.

Yep, and we didn’t lose. Still, Cunningham and Duren are really good players and they can retool around those guys for a long time and be competitive or maybe take a big swing and become a contender

Also it’s not like those 3 guys mentioned are bad players. They’re pretty decent role players. Add any of them to our team and imagine the major boost we’ve have. Plus add Beasley to the mix. Our depth is really really bad and that’s probably what will end us. Payne had a couple little moments but Deuce was pretty bad all series

Yeah I think this was the first 3rd quarter of doom that actually worked out the other way for us. Instead the meltdown came in the 4th, but in the clutch we staved them off

In a close game, with Brunson on the team, we are never out of it. As long as we aren’t getting blown out, we will always have a chance.

Clutch player of the year isn’t just a meaningless trophy, it’s a game breaking ability and likely the major difference on why we won the series

People were saying while he was injured we could beat the pistons without him. Anybody still think that??

I hope everyone in the media pushing the Cade is the best player in the series line is confronted and challenged on this but I suspect we won’t hear another word about it

You ever seen this in your local freezer section? It's pretty good if you're craving a thick crust that has a nice crunch on the edges

However, this is the best frozen pizza. All of the ingredients are quality

Got that Detroit Pizza and had it one night with the kids. It produces farting on an epic scale.

It's good frozen pizza, but the post meal farting is relentless.

My neighbor saw me throwing the box in the recycle bin and stated "Oh, you got the box of farts?", so it wasn't just us. :D

Did anyone have post-fartum depression?

Clyde- Thanks for the recommendation. Will look out for it. We love a frozen pizza on a night we don’t feel like cooking.

Buzzard- Damn! Duly noted. Might still try it.

P.S. Personally speaking, not a single fart

A Mikal tip in, when does that ever happen? Caught them by surprise for sure but that was a literal once in a blue moon thing

The Jalen crossover, again, how often do you see a defender that completely ankle broken and out of position after a dribble move leading to a wide open 3? Amazing no doubt but it is rare.

The refs didn't call pretty obvious intentional fouls at the end, then Beasley misses a pass on the money to the shooting pocket, that's a clear anomaly and was fortuitous.

Got 3 high standard deviation events happening in the same few minutes, that's how they won after playing a terrible 4th

It is what it is and we'll take it

just finished. man... I am obv happy that we advanced.. but boy is this a struggle.
Brunson came up huge, but this can't be it for basically an entire 4th quarter..

Thibs is really by far the worst offense coach I've ever witnessed. I think overall he is average to slight below average. At some point you've got to come up with some kind of Xs and Os, right? insanity..

I don't think KAT got iced out. I think he flat out got taken out of the game.
