It was a ridiculous roster. The NBA even made rules to avoid that kind of situation happening again. It was bad for the fans. I didn't watch a single heat game when they had that 3-some. It's like the Dodgers in baseball or the old Yankees when they had a much higher payroll than anyone else. The game loses something when it's that unbalanced.
Please stop, you're making Wade and Bosh out to be top 5 players all-time. They had zero depth the first season they got together, LeBron had to carry those Miami teams for 4 straight years, if he did not play at an all-time level they would've never won anything.
Please. Wade was a top 5 player at the time and LeBron was #1. Bosh wasn't top 5, but he was very good. You're welcome to disagree, but I thought that kind of "lets be superstars and team up" was in bad form. Like Shaq and Kobe together. It took no skill to build a roster around that.
Today's NBA is different. Deep rosters are what win now. I thought the LeBron Heat team and the Shaq Kobe teams were uninteresting. I stand by that. It's my opinion, so I'm not sure why you're telling me to stop. Do you want me to stop having an opinion?
I respect LeBron's career, except for his time with the Heat. And, OK, he joined the Lakers for showtime too, but that doesn't bother me as much. I know that some don't care for that part of his career. As a Laker, LeBron made the finals once in 6 years. On the Heat, they made the finals all 4 years. That's boring basketball to me. They didn't earn it, they just teamed up. As I said, I'm not a fan of those years. I have every right to feel that way about it.
