The young legs of OKC are going to kill either of these teams after this series.

True and all. But remember his dad was on the staff at the Knicks so they were a bit skewed and had an advantage. But yea, you're still right that they were correct in handing out that big contract. Though I think everyone knew it by then and would've paid it. Props to Dal for nailing a 2nd rd pick and letting him play right away. They kind of got screwed in it by Knicks having that leg up with his dad, so he wouldn't resign or do a sign/trade

Sucks about Pop, he was good for the game. I thought Bud might at least get an interview given his history with Pop but he's not a good fit with that roster right now.

San Antonio next year will be fun (biased because I live here). Very similar trajectory to Bucks once they got Giannis. They have their star and are trying to leverage that excitement to pass an unpopular downtown arena plan down everyone’s throats. It will be awesome if it happens though, as the current arena is in a miserable spot. Or they’ll end up in Austin.

I just looked up where San Antonio's arena is and my god, you weren't kidding. That entire area looks barren of anything but the stadium?

I've only been to SA once, but I'd be really cool to have an arena near the riverwalk. That was a legit fun area.

Yup. Supposed to “spur” economic development on the Eastside but never came close to happening. It is in the same lot as the Freeman Colosseum, which is like the Mecca. The city is actually floating keeping all four arenas (Alamo Dome and the current Frost Center) which is crazy.

But the plan calls for updating the convention center, building a downtown AAA baseball stadium, building the arena, renovating the Alamo dome for football and concerts, renovating a courthouse to be a concert venue, building a hotel, and covering the freeway to create park space to link the whole thing. It would be pretty amazing:

Replacing Doc this off-season looks easier with these teams just promoting their interims. We’ll have a harder time finding a new coach in 12 months time.

Two months in with the team below .500 we'll fire Doc and give the job to Ham. Botched. Rinse and repeat.

Kerr has used 4 different starting lineups in 6 games. Part of that was Butler being out. But it's way more than that. He's started Curry, Butler, Green, Podz, Moody, Hield, Kuminga, Post. 8 different starters. He tinkers with the lineup and rotation and makes adjustments. Like a good coach would do. I wish we had one.

Draymond is such a clown. He should honestly be tossed for that crap due to his extensive history of being a dumb ass

I cannot believe the **** Draymond tries to pull sometimes, as if there aren't like a dozen professional grade cameras on him at all times.

Only reason I can think of that not being a flagrant 2 is it's so early in the game and officials didn't want that to be what swung the result.
