100%. Add to that the league is intentionally marketing itself to younger audiences AND the obvious conflict of interest sponsoring people making/losing huge money on the outcome of games they purportedly want to be absent ulterior motives, it’s just an obvious own-goal.

I suspect in 10 years smartphone gambling will be like cigarette usage: negatively correlated with education and income. And stigmatized by society with consumers looked down on/pitied with the companies despised.
