I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I hope this means he's back. Doesn't make a ton of sense for him to be out there risking injury unless he's on a new agreement that keeps him around.
Hopefully we get some reporting tonight.

Re: Packers News, Transactions, Trade Talk - Simmons Signs 1 Year Deal
Jeremy Fowler had a little blurb about Alexander this morning. Sounds like a resolution is coming soon.
The Packers passing on cornerback for the first six rounds seems to signify that Jaire Alexander is staying with the team, barring a unique trade offer or a contractual stalemate.
The Packers and Alexander are working on a resolution that should materialize soon. A revised contract for Alexander, due $17.5 million in cash this year, to balance his injury history with his longtime status as an elite corner might be the most sensible play.

Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Having issues with Elgton would be a bummer with how they shifted the line. Get ready, Jacob Monk.

I've also read that he looked pretty sharp in the mini-camp. Apparently they've monitored him for some time. No competition for Willis, but Clifford will be pushed.

He's got a pretty big arm from the limited snaps I've seen. He had one throw in the Senior Bowl that was awesome.
Would love for them to develop a backup QB while we still have Malik for another year to assume that role.

I still do not understand what they see in Clifford, he's old with a crappy arm. So I'm all for adding a wildcard in Elgersma to see if he can push Clifford

Is there kind of a general assumption that Willis will move on after this season, hoping for a starting gig somewhere? I throw in the trade of Willis to Pittsburg as a wild-card, if Pitt gets tired of Rogers dithering on signing on with them. Willis is better than the Plan C guys on their roster right now anyway.

Figure out a way to trade Willis and get something of value. Profit.

He'd be wise to retire and see if the Packers want to offer him some sort of assistant-to-the-assistant coaching role. He seems like the kind of guy suited for future QB coach.

Ok.... Hear me out.... Rodgers doesn't sign with Pittsburgh and chooses to retire (or sit out and hope JJ sprains an ankle in mini camp for Minnesota)...... We give Pittsburgh Willis, Doubs and a conditional 3rd for Watt........ ProfitIheartfootball wrote:Matches Malone wrote:Treebeard wrote:I've also read that he looked pretty sharp in the mini-camp.
