(I added a note many of us will boycott their products. I didn't say all bcuz it's not an organized boycott. But note that you will upon signing).

Can this get its own thread, or just a general collective action one to fire Doc/enact change?

Only 13 signatures so far!? Cmon now.

There are dozens of us. Dozens!

It's the weekend guys. Doc is staying. If they were firing him, they drop the news on a Friday so they don't have to answer questions about it and weekend news washes it away as a talking point.

Franchise offered its soul and future in exchange for 2021 and the devil came calling.

In his post game presser talking about Hali’s dad Giannis talked about Thanasis and how he wants to come back and play.

Odds on Horst locking Giannis in by signing Thanasty to a min deal to take the 15th man spot?

I don’t see there being any vision at all for this team by the FO. They’re just stupid non-basketball people making basketball decisions.

Any team can sign Thanasis to a minimum towel waving end of the bench contract.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

But will they?

I’d love to see him as a strength and conditioning coach but it sounds like he wants to play.

It's a package deal. Wherever Giannis ends up Thanasis ends up. If Thanasis wants to play he'll be in uniform. I agree though, a staff position would be better. He'd still be around the team every day without taking up a spot.

I think Dame can work with Giannis. Just need to surround them with like 10 new players. I wish our cap wasnt bad in so we can actually play GM.

Our cap is bad because of Dame. His skills overlap and do not compliment Giannis. He had 2 years to figure out how to throw a simple lob to Giannis and never got it. Now he's injured, old, and nothing more than a colossal salary albatross.

Colossal salary albatross are valuable in the last year of the deal under this CBA. Dame is a hard worker too so it's likely he comes back and is good enough that he's worth more than just the expiring of his contract. But yeah we're boned next year, needs to be a play a bunch of young guys, let Giannis stat pad type of year.

Yes the blame was laid on Giannis that he couldn’t screen properly for Dame. What was much more apparent to me was Dame’s failure or lack of effort to open up Giannis’ scoring opportunities. We wasted 2 years of Giannis’ prime. Both Khris and Jrue were able to enhance Giannis ‘ scoring opportunities via good passing, lobs or alley oops.

Giannis said he won't ask for a trade, Bucks said they won't trade Giannis unless he asks for a trade.

Hopefully both parties stick to their word.

Only skill that overlaps is he likes to handle the ball. His skills are outside, Gianni’s’ are inside. Being a terrific free throw shooter is valuable. Of course I don’t think he’ll be as lethal on offense as the old Dame after he recovers.

If you are wondering whether or not I hate myself for this, the answer is yes.

MKE: Poole, Smart, Bey
WAS: Lillard, Connaughton, MKE '31 1st swap rights

KPJ / Smart / Rollins
Poole / Green
Trent / Bey
Giannis / Kuzma
Portis / Sims

Similar to the Jazz idea. Lillard gets to go rehab his body/value with his buddy Khris, and the Bucks get three useful rotation players. Washington opens up all kinds of playing time for their exciting young guards ( ), while adding a juicy swap...

Poole is a polarizing player, but brings some of the shot creation we desperately need. Bey is a big wing that plays smart/physical and can shoot, Smart is pretty cooked but he's at least an irritant and expires after the season.

Now the thing I see right there is the thing that is the thing that is the Swag Brothers for a new generation. I do love a narrative, just gotta bring the absolute greatest court concept design in history to fruition if not fire Kidd er Doc.

Appreciate what you're trying to do here, but I can't give up even a pick swap for these guys. I've maintained for years now what we have to stop digging the FRP hole we're in deeper and deeper, and I think it's only become more pressing that we value our truly owned FRPs highly. It's not off the table in my book, but I can't put it on the table for this.

I’m fine giving up future picks and swaps, but this can’t be where the dealing ends.

What else do you have cooking up with the other assets whether it’s for this offseason or next?

Edit: Make it a ‘32 swap to give us more flexibility earlier.

Certainly not advocating for it, just trying to find realistic partners that would take on an injured Lillard. Maybe they'd do it for 2nds and a flyer on Tyler Smith... IDK, it's pretty dark.

I would definitely be scouring the league for Kuzma deals and/or shopping Smart's expiring contract.
