I will always be a Knicks fan but is very likely my last season as a full time all 82 game plus more NBA watcher. It was gonna be last year but we got Towns and I extended it. But I have a lot going on in my life that will unfortunately make it difficult to keep following the sport. So if this is the end hopefully they at least go down with guns blazing

Take care man.

I think the biggest thing from my end is that they have to provide the confidence based on past results. I don’t see it - the regular season, the coaching, the series versus Detroit, the bench, even KAT.

When dudes provide that proof though, it’s easier to trust. For example, at this point, I really have strong confidence in Brunson to produce on this stage. When dudes talk about Ausar or something, it’s laughable to me.

Guess to put it more bluntly, I’ll root for the Knicks cause my heart is there, but my brain is saying no - otherwise, I’d put money on it.

Well sure. It’s a team that has proven they will win the championship because they did, vs a team that has not shown even once it can beat a top shelf team. Things to be positive about? The regular season doesn’t matter(as recently demonstrated by us beating Detroit who beat us the last 3 in a row in the regular season). Our team is actually, for now, 100% healthy and used to playing together, which we’ve never really been during the regular season. And superhero Brunson is back. So forget the regular season, this is a new season, now let’s just see what happens

Pure switching defense, let them settle for isos

Force Tatum to defend every play with KAT camping 3pt line

Enjoyed the series win for a day before stopping in here.

knicks in 7

Were gonna get 4 elite Brunson games with a few of the others stepping up.

And he needs to defend.

Against Boston this season, opponents are shooting 7.8% better when he's guarding them. Absolutely atrocious.

One of the reasons why we barely beat the Pistons was because of how awful KAT was on defense.

His DFG% at protecting the rim is the worst by anyone in the playoffs. He has a DFG% of 75% at protecting the rim, allowing opponents to shoot 8.5% better. We are pretty much cooked.

Were in the 2nd round of the playoffs against the Cs. Why be scared, or reasonable, or measured. All that is for the grind. This is basketball. Knicks basketball.

And more importantly we have the best player in the series, and the best wing defender. Im riding with em.

Fck Boston.

Were leaving this sht with 4 wins.

I hoped we'd unleash the Kraken to soften those guys up, but too bad, we don't seem to have a Kraken.

We just need to keep unforced errors to a minimum and play loose and get after it. The pressure is on the NBA champs to beat us.

We were -6.06 when KAT was off the floor in the series, we lost the minutes when he was out of the game.

The players will have to win and overcome his coaching. I don't think it's possible against Boston. I say it will be a gentlemans sweep. Boston in 5.

brother what did you want? NOBODY was doing anything off the bench, McBride has been BRUTAL.

Deuce's story is now playing on Prime Video -- it's called The Brutalist.

We go from one homer in Jalen Rose to another super homer in Paul Pierce. Man I would love to shut him up. Don't forget this guys stomped all over a Knicks jersey and I think even lit it on fire last year. This a*hole needs to be put in his place.

I read the poll results, and 5 people voted for "Knicks in 4." Do any of you 5 brave souls care to identify yourselves?

You know, if the Knicks actually do win in 4, this would be sufficient reason for you to be inducted into the RealGM Hall of Fan Fame.

Spoiler:
Of course, if the Knicks lose in 4, this could be used to commit you for a period of not less than 60 days to the psychiatric hospital of your choie.
