Brunson is great if you're the team that drafted him, but I wouldn't want to sign him, FVV at the same age was a much better defender, so much so he was guarding the 2 at 6'0. And most importantly Fred is a high volume 3 point shooter while Brunson is meh at best.

They're only similar in body shape, Fred is much much better.

I needed a playoff series to make me a believer, after that I was sold and converted to Brunsonism.






Unlike me, we all know you don't change your tune on players, it's why you still ride for Randle and LaVine.

That's why I wanted him. My entire Knicks fandom we have never had a good solution at PG that wasn't a band aid (except the first year of Marbury). I have posts being excited over Kemba or signing Fred Van Felton (one of the best nicknames this board has ever come up with).

I'm just grateful we go one. And when he plays like a floor general, I think we can beat anybody.
