Harden gave a regular season effort in this one though even that might be going too far considering he’s generally actually good in the regular season. No defense played by him whatsoever and he actively avoided shooting the ball on offense whenever he could.

That 2020 Raps team was already great, but it could have been an ATG team with Kawhi IMO.

Maybe he doesn’t give a **** about his legacy. Again you can’t say it was a lose for kawhi without knowing how he feels about it. Again seeing his personality from the outside he probably doesn’t give a **** about his legacy and is just happy to be playing basketball in LA.

From a raptors fans perspective it was a lose, but you can’t project that same perspective onto kawhi.

Honestly if Kawhi really is just coasting...I don't want anything to do with him. Clearly he no longer values winning.

If he valued winning he doesn't leave after winning a championship. Simple.

No matter what PG looked like this year, you pay him so that you don't have to see Kris Dunn on the floor. It's just money that you couldn't give to anyone else anyway.

Or he legit thought he would have a better chance at winning another one in LA, he did orchestrate the PG move so winning does matter to him. Players don't always make the best GM's as we have seen.

I always assumed it was about his first child.

I know in my life....there is no way I'd ever agree to work in a different country than where my baby's mother lives. In fact....i made sure i never lived more than a few city blocks away from her. Obviously as a rich person you could afford more distance than that. But a different country or coast? You are gonna be a stranger to that child.

It's different if you aren't estranged from the mother because she will travel with you.

This is why you should always run it back after winning a championship. Screwed himself over. Screwed us all over.

It's just one year more year away if he were to run it back. He could have left the year after. No harm done.

Sure, but the scenario they were afraid would literally be playing out if they kept him. 2nd Apron and his contract untradeable.

This era has seen some interesting decisions. KD walking away from the Warriors. Sticking with the Suns for some reason. LeBron married to LA clearly for non-basketball reasons. Any number of Harden decisions over the last half-decade. Jimmy to the Heat for ??? Guys just living their lives.

we're talking about 2-3 years and its not like a regular 9-5. he could take a private jet to fly to LA multiple times a year; there are enough breaks in a season which only lasts for 6-8 months depending on how deep you go in the playoffs.
if we get a bite at bringing giannis here, we won't have to deal with BS like this with international players.

idk i think norm did an adequate job of replacing pg's production. ultimately it was harden who did not step up

My answer to this: what are their next 4 years looking like anyway? No youth, no picks. This was a ride or die crew. You're out of options anyway. Might as well ride out those 4 years and start over after.

Clipper fans now turning against normgod on Instagram.

9 points. 3 for 11. Didn't hit a single 3 pointer. 3 turnovers. A minus 33 in a 19 point loss.

Not very good for a player who offers nothing except for scoring.
