Y’all remember Jokic asked for Westbrook to come to Denver. He’s the GM and coach at this point.

Judging by your “education posts”…I’d say teaching was never in the cards for you

Says the guy who claimed Norman Powell is a better player than Aaron Gordon. Basketball might not be in the cards for you to understand.

Lol I’m a Jokic fan with an agenda.

Yes.

14 points on 13 shots, and easy to rack up assists when your role players are hitting their shots.

Jokic was not Jokic tonight, stop it. Nobody cares because his team is winning in blowout fashion. But if this was a close game, he'd be getting criticized right now.

He’s an amazing passer and he’s been getting open looks for his teammates. Also, players typically shoot poorly in game 7s.

Kobe had the 6-24 game where Paul Pierce shot 5-15 and Ray Allen was 3-14. Duncan had a 10-27 game in game 7 of the 2005 finals. In 2016 NBA Finals game 7 Lebron shot 9-24 and Curry shot 6-19.

lol I’m not saying he’s not great.

I’m saying we can stop with the narrative about his supporting cast, because they won them the game tonight with Jokic being pretty blah.

I didn't believe it at first so I checked the Basketball-reference page and turned out it's true. A lot of these games were from his first years in OKC when he was coming off the bench and not playing huge minutes, but still...

For my unbiased take:

I do believe that Powell is a little underrated. He just marginalized once LAC was at full health. He is a very smooth player who just looked like he never recovered fully from that injury around the ASB.

Gordon has made strides this year as a shooter and has been as productive on the OREBs as I’ve ever seen him. Not the ideal PF fit next to Jokic because he isn’t a rim protector but he is so elite in the dunker spot and he’s a very high IQ player. Seen him do more bully ball this year too backing guys down.

Remember when Malone was fired because he wanted Westbrook?

Because they have been the clowned LA team long enough. I see its hard to comprehend for a Lakers fan but that fan base has become insufferable for many people. I respect that people in LA still want to be Basketball fans and not ride that bandwagon.

Who says Malone was fired because he wanted Westbrook? There were many reasons for Malone's firing and i think it was someting this group needed. They were going nowhere with him.

Someone might argue being in that many game 7s just as good as winning in a single game 7. Not me of course.

Im happy he's ok health wise.

But this is a hard time of transition and i need a drown my sorrows boohoo night.

This game will do to lift spirits as I drown in them.

There is the Harden we all know and love. Just a matter of time. He’s a lot like the Cowboys in that sense. Man has added to his tally of 3 or fewer made field goals in a playoff game tonight. He now sits at 35. Absurd.

Not a good time for some people on realgm.

Jokic has defeated a 50 win team in a playoff series.

Ben Simmons is unusable in the playoffs.

People will need to see Westbrook for at least another 4 games.

Harden is the biggest fraud in NBA history, it has been obvious for years and I hope more people finally realize it. He might be the biggest fraud in all sports period. I don’t want to ever hear anyone mention him again.

Before the series started, the poll showed 20% more people think the Clippers are going to win.
Let's not forget that.
