It was good to see Russell Westbrook play well in game seven. Denver eliminated the Clippers.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Thomas Bryant sighting.

Anybody else watched Shooting Guards (the Netflix doc on Gilbert/Javaris)?

Just caught it tonight. I highly recommend it. Not a lot of new information, but its the first time I've really heard from Javaris, in his own words. Also, Gil's perspective is remarkable. He's a different person now, for sure. I can only imagine how hard this situation with Alijah had been for him. Hard to believe all the gun drama was sixteen years ago. Sometimes it feels like yesterday.

Overall, a very well done piece of television.

I’m really happy for Thomas Bryant who’s hitting key 3s for Indy tonight. Happy to see him succeed.

He strikes me as the ideal "veteran mentor" prototype. He'll be a good solder and ride the pine in favor of the young guys while helping them out in practice, and if he is ever needed for a stint in a game, he will be ready. He's like the SG version of Anthony Gill.

Portis is somehow still only 30 years old. I thought that dude was ancient, like my age.

Wizards legend

The Indiana Pacers are acquiring Jay Huff from the Memphis Grizzlies. Indiana will send Memphis a second-round round pick, as well as the rights to swap a future second-round pick.

Memphis will clear a bit more room under the salary cap, as they create the room necessary to renegotiate-and-extend the contract of Jaren Jackson Jr.

The Pacers get some additional center depth on an affordable contract in Huff. In his most extensive NBA action last season, Huff averaged 6.9 points and nearly a block per game in 11.7 minutes per night off the Grizzlies bench.

He should have been a Wizard 3rd stringer all along from when we had him on our G-League team.

The Clips sign another former Wiz all star after he’s bought out of his contract. Will Beal’s tenure with the Clipps be:
Worse than Wall or Westbrook

Better than Wall but not as good as Westbook?

Better than Wall and Westbrook?

Honestly I hope he has a good couple of years unshackled from his insane no trade clause and max contract
Making extreme statements like "only" sounds like there are "no" Jokics in this draft? Jokic is an engine that was drafted in the 2nd round. Always a chance to see diamond dropped by sloppy burgular after a theft.
