Love having “superstars” that make absurd baserunning errors that cost this team games regularly

If this team is serious about winning games, you simply cannot have both Roden and Barger hitting back to back in the bottom of the order. I am not sure how many more games you are going to give these guys to figure it out. They are not Major League material right now, and belong in Buffalo. Roden is now 0 for his last 26.

Schneemann would be the best player on this team right now.

I think the book is out on Francis he just doesn't have the stuff to miss bats at the major league Level. At least when it comes to being a starter. He's actually been pretty lucky compared to his expected stats but that looks like its regressing to the mean now.

He was lucky last summer Francis has regressed to the norm.

Francis wasn't really hit hard and a couple of times just needed right bounce his way. Too early to make definite conclusions.

Jays offense is a very hard watch.

Tate's garbage. Might be lucky enough to get away with no damage from him.

Is Swanson done for long term still?

He’s fine for what he is/should be (a defensive replacement/pinch runner/part time bat against LHPs. Not sure why an organization would actively choose to sac bunt to let him hit against a RHP in the biggest spot in the game but it speaks to the inept and unserious nature of the FO and manager.

Fire them.

What a joke this team is. Walking in a run in the 9th running when you're already down one.

This is a product of Little being completely overworked. He’s gassed just like Yimi was.

The ultimate issue is the team’s offense is plain bad.

The bottom half of this lineup is arguably the worst hitting bottom order in all of MLB. Just tough to watch guys like Barger, Roden, Clement, and Straw on a regular basis all year counted on to produce timely hits. Points to this organization's lack of depth and quality talent pool overall courtesy of Atkins and Shapiro.

Huge break on the 3-2 pitch against Gimenez. Clear strike 3 at bottom of zone, called a ball.
Can our "good" hitters take advantage of it.

Jays spending 147 million more on payroll than the Cleveland Indians, who are in the bottom tier of spending. How elite this Cleveland team would be if they had the budget of the Jays. Atkins/Shapiro overseeing the most pathetic offense I have ever watched in all of my decades watching baseball. Just a disgrace.

This team is allergic to hitting and winning. My goodness..

This team, the way it is constructed, cannot compete with the best. Trade your vets and start the rebuild and hope for the best. Get rid of Shatkins and JS. Enough is enough.

By the trade deadline, when this team is out of it- they need to do whatever they can to package their most desirable trade assets (guys like Bo and Bassitt) with some of their bloated contracts (Gimenez and Santander) and clear out some of these bad contracts off the books.

Do not worry about getting back any very good prospects. Just tell opposing teams we will give you guys like Bo, Bassitt, and Gausman for peanuts if you take the contracts of guys like Gimenez, Santander, Kirk, etc. Cannot do a proper rebuild with all that money tied up in long-term commitments to various guys in the years ahead.

Hard to win when half your lineup are #9 hitters and your 500 mil dollar man would be lucky to get 30 HRs in a season

Return to Toronto Blue Jays
