Would be an interesting 2nd rounder if we go big with our first pick....But i think hes rising as a 1st rounder.

The odds a team can rebound like that is astronomically low especially with odds as abysmal as that.
Believe what you want, but for me thats too much to swallow.
Just so you know, I don't care how they operate the lottery, if an outcome that defys normal reasoning occurs, my response will be something beyond normal reasoning is the likely cause.
Lmao. Okay then. That’s some embarrassing logic. A 1% chance winning the lottery does not defy normal reasoning.
I guess anything when you gamble it’s rigged. I guess when you play the lottery its rigged. I guess when there’s a 5% chance it’ll rain tomorrow, that’s also controlled in some way. Got it.

Re: 2025 NBA Draft Discussion Part 6
The Raps FO seems to love this draft. They’ve been scouting guys in person who are around the ORL #16 pick (eg Traore, Demin).
It’s obvious the Magic will make a move for PG this offseason. They have 4 picks, but there’s no way they will bring 4 rookies in - a trade is inevitable. They need shooting and backcourt creation. They would love Quickley.
Here’s a draft day trade:
Immanuel Quickley for Anthony Black, #16, salary (KCP)
The Raptors could go Maluach #7 + Traore/Demin #16, and get a complete team that can grow.
They also seem to love guys like Anthony Black - 6’7, smart and versatile.
Black / Traore
Barrett / KCP / Jakobe
Ingram / Dick / Ochai
Barnes /
Poeltl / Maluach
+#39
Good luck scoring on that length.
We would have pure scorers (Ingram, Barrett, Dick)
And disruptive defenders (Scottie, Maluach, Black, Ochai)
And great 2 way vets (Poeltl, KCP)
And high upside young guards (Jakobe, Traore)
This is Masai’s vision.

Im not just talking about the weighted odds of less than 2%, Im talking about also getting the #1 pick after they traded Luka. The sheer unbelievable coincidince + extremely unlikely odds would make me doubt the legitimacy of the lottery. Whether you agree with my reasoning, I frankly dont give a flying ****.

Nah, FO wants to win next season; pretty sure they locked in IQ, Ingram, and Scottie unless they can get an actual upgrade that leads to immediate winning; I doubt they want to bring in more rookies at the expense of their core pieces.

Really bad trade imo, Quickly pull up 3pt game is highly needed and we just traded him for Anthony black, who couldn't stay on the floor for offensive purposes in the past, & then pair him with weak shooters in RJ and Barnes doesn't make all that much sense imo

Re: 2025 NBA Draft Discussion Part 6
My perfect draft is Cooper F captain obvious
My perfect as we are 7 Khaman 39 Tyrese P { could be convinced on other 6’3” or taller PG. Needed Def, passing and get into lane }
Top 3 at 7 Khaman, Jeremiah, Derik
If we don’t draft a C with “pick 7” I’m looking to trade a wing for Thomas Sorber. I believe Ulrich will be decent in 2 more years but, we need improved depth now.

You guys are so gullible. Tankathon Sim results are displayed by geo location to get clicks and site engagement. This is how the whole internet works. If you're from Toronto and you run the sim, more often than not Toronto gets the number 1 pick. If you're from Philadelphia they move up and get the number one slot keeping their pick. That's how the algorithm works, it's not rocket sciencePushDaRock wrote:WuTang_OG wrote:This guy gotta be a raps fan

It's called doing your job. Especially at 7th, there are more options available so more work is required.

There's something called a VPN. Any real Tankathon Aficionado would set their VPN to a neutral location for the most accurate results
Just accept the fact that Flagg to White Vegas is as close to a lock that it gets!!!

Re: 2025 NBA Draft Discussion Part 6
Confirmed: Raptors were in attendance to watch Traore yesterday.
Source: https://www.aisnenouvelle.fr/id628229/article/2025-05-04/basket-ball-les-scouts-nba-conquis-par-le-choc-entre-deux-pepites-francaises
The other teams mentioned in the article: Heat, Spurs, Jazz, Hornets, Clippers
Full Game Highlights:
Traore is finishing the season on a very high note - 13 3PM (50% 3P) + 32 AST in his last 5 games
This isn't the first time the Raptors have scouted him. Both times Traore has put on a show.

He simulated the draft 100x
From what I remember
We got #1 8x
I think we got 3-2 more than we got 4
8 was definitely most common

Yeah makes no sense. If we were thinking about trading IQ we would have kept Davion.
And did Shead retire?

Yeah I didn’t bother putting Shead / Mogbo / Chomche etc in the depth chart, because I focused on the main guys.
You have to think that someone like Nolan Traore will be ahead of Shead for development opportunities, although Shead might get more opportunities earlier in the season.

I just don't see us moving IQ unless it's in a deal for a better PG. We need his outside shooting.

Traore makes RJ expendable. Hence, why I see us drafting him.
The playmaking + slashing + rim attacks - all can be replaced by Traore.

His low release point probably isn't enough to qualify as "need".
Besides, we need spacing at either PF or C. We cannot make up by a single player, unless he is at Curry level.
