Thunder/Nuggets should be a great series.

I dislike Harden but also dislike Joker fanboys who claim Joker is so much better than Giannis.

Worst case scenario they're on the same level as an overall player. I also like Kawhi and Aaron Gordon so I was fine either way.

Jokic was mid for a majority of that series and still won. Clippers really got overrated, bc kawhi looked like his old self for a a couple of games.

Ive had this take earlier in the season, but outside of the thunder, im not sure the west is that great. I feel like even the bucks could have gone deep in a series with any of these teams. Only good wins we had this year were against the west

Two good games tonight.

We will see if Indy for real.

And an epic game 7 with old star GSW v youth risers in Houston.

Russ never gives less than anything but his full ass. He is just the most. His shooting may vary, lordt it may vary, but he do not have an off night.

Even when Russ has a bad game you can't say it's due to lack of energy. Wish we focused on getting him next to Jrue and Giannis.

I am actually pretty anxious to see how the Pacers do against the Cavs.

I was high on the Pacers going into these playoffs, but it's still hard to gauge how good they really are. I could see the Pacers pulling the upset and actually winning this series.

But if the Cavs won it 4-1 in convincing fashion, I wouldn't be shocked by that either.

I think we would all agree that the outcome of this series will tell us a bit more about the Bucks. If the Pacers win it 4-1, then maybe the Bucks aren't as far off from being as tier 1 contender as we think. If the Cavs sweep, that would be a gut punch for us. Although from an entertainment standpoint, it would be enjoyable to see the Pacers get swept lol.

I think the Cavs win the series in 6 or 7 really competitive games.

How much is Ty Jerome getting this Summer? He'll be 28 and only had 1 good season. Do we have a shot?

Paying a 28 year old with one good season and average athleticism is a bad idea.imo

If the price is right we should definitely make an offer. He's an insanely good shooter, good size for pg and a good passer. I think he'd be excellent with Giannis.

Incoming posts on how we would have gone to ECF had we just gotten past Indy in game 5.

Average is awfully generous. We don't need [role-player] guards anyway.

Rick Carlisle doesn't get enough credit for being a crazy good coach.

I recall when we were linked with him after Kidd got canned. Would have taken him over Bud. But after Bud got the gig, there was never really a window for us to get him afterwards.

I agree, he's quietly been one of the best coaches in the league for over 20 years now. He indeed does not get nearly enough credit for that.

Carlisle is elite at getting the most out of his roster. Whatever your ceiling is, you're going to reach it with Carlisle.

It's kind of funny how a guy like Carlisle can be so good year in and year out and doesn't get a ton of recognition. Then you have a guy like Doc who has been hilariously bad for a long time now with HOF talent, but somehow still has the reputation for being a good coach.

Carlisle is the antithesis of Doc. His ability to coach through multiple decades and evolve with the modern NBA is impressive. He's truly a student of the game always looking to learn, improve and change each season.

The Bucks were ready to fire Bud and hire Carlisle if we had lost the Brooklyn series in 2021? Right? I don't know how true it was but I remember there was a lot talk about that at the time.

That was a potential window that never opened because we won the title. But yeah, Carlisle was on his way out in Dallas, so it's possible that the Bucks would have talked to him if Bud got canned.

Carlisle hadn’t won a playoff series for like a decade before last season. Good coach obviously but funny how things work.
