Well, at least Indy is doing to Cleveland what they did to us.

I recall when we were linked with him after Kidd got canned. Would have taken him over Bud. But after Bud got the gig, there was never really a window for us to get him afterwards.

The Bucks were ready to fire Bud and hire Carlisle if we had lost the Brooklyn series in 2021? Right? I don't know how true it was but I remember there was a lot talk about that at the time.

That was a potential window that never opened because we won the title. But yeah, Carlisle was on his way out in Dallas, so it's possible that the Bucks would have talked to him if Bud got canned.

If I remember correctly I think Carlisle was already out in Dallas and was actually waiting on the Bucks situation. Of course the Bucks ended up winning and Carlisle took the Pacers job. Maybe I am not remembering correctly.

I would still rather take the title, of course. But too bad there wasn't a world where we win the title and still end up with Carlisle lol. Imagine what Carlisle could do if he was coaching a team with Giannis.

TNT needs to figure out their audio. Sounds like Spero Dedes is screaming into an old xbox headset.

Damn, CLE is LOUD. That was an exciting 2 minute stretch.

Hell of a run by the Cavs
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

18-27 since the championship. Bud 8-9 since the Bucks won their championship.

I wish Dame attacked the basket as much as Mitchell does. Dame is just as good at driving and finishing as Mitchell. Problem is Dame only does it a couple times a game.

Paying a 28 year old with one good season and average athleticism is a bad idea.imo

Any team that gives him big money will regret it like the Lakers giving Gabe Vincent big money. Just as Spoelstra coached up Strus, Martin, and Vincent two years ago...Atkinson coaches up Hunter, Jerome, Strus, and Wade.

It's not about overpaying role players. It's about finding coaches that get the most out of players on smaller contracts.

You can't really get mad at them. The playoffs are intense.

But the Pacers are a-holes

Evan Mobley just doesn't realize how good he is. If he had the aggressive attributes of Giannis, Mobley would be an MVP candidate.

Good hustle by Mathurin but I think that left hand in the chest might get him on this challenge.

Edit: Guess not.

Seeing Cavs struggles makes what Giannis did all the more impressive. Dude single handedly kept us in the sseries

Well it helps that Bucks and Cavs are leaving him wide open. He just has nobody around him.

Pacers are going hit everything this series and then go ice cold in the ECF against Celtics.

I want to puke just thinking about it.

Many to most on this board had a tendency to underrate the Pacers the last couple of yrs. They have a genuinely solid big 3 & good starting 5. It's just not on the level of the elite. And I think we'd have beaten them last year at least if healthy. This yr maybe if Doc wasn't our coach.
