Indiana just went into Cleveland and won game 1 as big a dog as NYK are, they don't play a lick of D but in the playoffs players lock in and it's generally more physical so I don't wanna hear people Crying and moaning about drop covg and 3 pointers and all this other bullsh*t. We can def win this series

Knicks struggled to get past a young team. Not a good look.

Great play by Brunson, bailing out Thibs sorry ass.

Not making any excuses for the rest of the game. Just pointing out that for those who did watch the ending was a treat.

Can't get any more iconic than that shot.

Saw the replay. My guy is greatness personified. Doesn't make up for the rest of the issues.

I usually try to be hopeful but, I feel none of that right now. It sucks. I think I'll give the first game a look and go from there. I can't punk out in front of my nephew. He's a Celtics fan. Can't let him see me sweat.

I think I go

OG on Tatum
Hart on Brown
Mikal on White

White is such a swing player for them.

Brunson guards Holiday since he is there worst offensive player.

And then KAT on KP...but they have to do more switching and live with the results. We can't come out with drop coverage and get Tatum and KP open 3's. If Tatum is matched up a lot vs KAT in switches so be it...just tell KAT to keep him in front (easier said then done) and then try your best to close out on step back 3's.

Indy is a dangerous team. Their bench is also stronger than last postseason. Wouldn't be surprised to see them bounce Cleveland. Especially if Garland is still hurting.

Not buying Indiana, but I also don't buy Cleveland so I could def see Indi winning that series, just like they will hunt for mismatches we must do the same and be physical like we were this past series. OG will be the reason we win the series, need more Mitch as well.

OG is the most important player on the Knicks. If he plays very well the Knicks have a shot provided they play as a team and not a bunch of freelancers. And if they keep games close Brunson always gives you a chance to pull out a win.

At the start of a series I choose to suspend disbelief long enough to be disappointed (or surprised). There are probabilities, but no certainties just yet.

Simple math here. Every game you'll need 25-30 points combined between Deuce, Josh Hart, and Cam Payne. If that happens, it breaks the Celtics defensive gameplan. We get that and we'll win the series. We cannot have lousy guard play like against Detroit (of course I'm not talking about JB). I do think Josh will do his part, but Payne and McBride need to step up.

Not worried about Bridges and OG. They'll show up. Not worried about Kat either because Detroit actually had bodies to throw at him. The C's don't really have those type of bigs. Jalen Duren was clearly a problem.

Boston will get the matchups they want. You can't go under with Pritchard or Tatum handling the ball in particular. Brunson's man can also act as the screener in the PNR to bring him in the action, which I expect will be a staple of their offense.

Brunson and KAT will need to step up defensively and put up a fight. There is nowhere for them to hide against the Celtics.

I agree with your point about drop coverage. It would be borderline suicidal to rely heavily on it.
