I don't know if LBJ can still win. But it's easier and less complicated to get it done than a KD trade. The Mavs doesn't need to move any core piece at all.

At least, it's fun to watch. I expect significant leap from DLive with a quality backcourt coming from nowhere to be a serious threat to top-notch team. If a Powell-Hardy for Thybulle trade works, then get it done.

LeBron dumped Street clothes a couple of months ago... I doubt he wants to play with him again.

And please stop talk about Thybulle. He is trash.

I wonder if you think Hardy and Powell are significant starting piece. The Mavs can't stick with speedy guard. The best you have was Exum and perhaps Christie last season. Exum will leave as FA. You need to find someone to fill the role. PJ and Marshall both failed blutantly against Morant. And Christie is inconsistent and is fluctuating on both ends while confidence is hurt. Basically, the Mavs has no player to stop speedy guard type.

Max Christie needs some meditation practice this summer to become the next Kobe. The killer mentality and shooting consistency are missing components for Max to become a significant playoff contributor.

He wouldn't be able to trade him even then because Mavs would be in the finals again.

Fat Luka cannot even beat Ant. lol

ANT is a good player on the rise. McDaniels and Gobert learnt a lot from the Mavs series. The duo is significant in beating LAL.

I don't get the point to trade trash for trash, it's not a move to improve the roster.

I'm hard to say but probably Max Christie is just a guy... I don't even know if he will be a starter in the league.

His hype is vanished after 5 games. Ouch.

The difference is Kyrie is here. I’m betting that Labron feels he can win with Kyrie even if Davis is injured again and on the bench.

Yea I don’t see that killer in Max Christie that Kobe had. Max can be a good role player here but he’s not THAT guy.

I doubt Giannis, or any top player or FA or draft pick from here on out, will ever want to willingly go to Dallas so long as this clown owner/FO are around. Also get used to vastly overpaying any FA in the future. That's the price you pay when you throw your entire city, fans, franchise, and players under the bus deliberately and maliciously.

Don't believe me?

See

Chris Cohan's Warriors
Donald Sterling's Clippers
[insert Patrick Dumont & Nico Harrison-of-a-b**** here]
etc

Flip side? Good owners/FO's keep their players around long-term and pick up top tier FA's

Joe Lacob's Warriors with Curry, Draymond, Klay, KD, Iggy, Bogut, etc.
Peter Holt's Spurs with Duncan, Ginobili, Parker, Wemby, etc.
Jerry Buss, Buss family's Lakers with Kobe, Magic, Kareem, Worthy, LeBron etc

I love Giannis, but definitely not at the expense of Flagg. But IMO, without Flagg, I dont see any possible deal that we can make with MIL to acquire Giannis

I am fine with Nico acquiring Giannis by other means other than Flagg. Anthony Davis and picks? Highly unlikely to occur but we draft Flagg.

Or does Giannis and Anthony Davis win a title?

It would cost the Mavs more than Cooper Flagg too. They would still have to match Giannis’ salary. I like Giannis, he’s an all time great player and I’d love to have him on the Mavs but the Mavs have a really good team with Cooper Flagg and trading for Giannis would require the Mavs to gut their team.
