What a lot players don't get is that you work for an open 3 to a solid 3pt shooter, so once that 3pt shooter doesn't take the shot you're looking at a much worse shot (unless of course it was to make a pass for a layup or just make a layup). It's basically erasing all the work you did to create that open 3.

Podz is like that coach's kid who never played street ball. He's trying to "do everything right" "according to the playbook" instead of just reading and reacting and Hoopin. This isn't football. "Executing everything by the playbook" will only get you so far.
