Uh. Dude is barely playing off the bench in a first round series.

He’s not top 5 best player on his own team. You have to be aiming for at least top 3 with a pick inside the top 5.

Yes, Pat went 4 and he’s a bust.
Jabari is a disappointment. Nothing on ball.

I posted this because of the similarities with Ace.

Jabari is 6th in total minutes for the Rockets in the playoffs, and he plays 20 per game. He isn't a liability out there either. 6'10 shotmakers have a straightforward path towards being contributors.

I’d agree with that but shotmakers and able to make an open shot are two very different things.

Ace is a shotmaker. Crazy angles, step backs, and off movement.
Jabari is a C+S shooter when open.

I’ve seen saying for a long time Ace has a high floor due to his shooting and really good and active D. I think his floor is higher than Jabari.

Hornets. They have missed out on many great prospects, and that fan base deserves some winning.

I gives them opportunity to move on from Ball imo

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Why would they need not keep both?

I also thought this tweet was pretty goofy.

I can pile on in hindsight now. What a really dumb tweet! Big ole 1-5 night from the #3 pick: 3/4/0s production.

I've always stated that Tari Eason is better than Jabari Smith. Months before they were drafted by the Houston Rockets. My stance never changed. Jabari Smith doesn't impress me one bit.

I could imagine HOU doing some sort of consolidation trade for a star. Smith would be the first guy they ship out (obviously not a core guy).

Tari was my guy in that draft and I was so pissed when the Rockets picked him one pick before us and we got Dalen.

Yes Tari is better than Jabari. I think Jabari will be traded soon. His size doesn’t translate into a small ball C. He could have some more juice in a different setting. Nothing to there to get all that excited about.

Man, woulda been great if Tari fell to us (although who knows if AK would pass on him).

Ace Bailey plays the way Ace Bailey plays - not due to coaching. Not due to the lack of a pass first point guard. But because that's how Ace Bailey plays.

If someone shows you who they are. Believe them.

The guy is 18 years old. Where was Jimmy Butler or Coby White at that age? It’s way too early to define what Ace will be. Not saying he will be a star or a bust. He could end up being either.

He’s been off my radar cause of his height, but Jase Richardson actually reminds me a little of Donovan Mitchell. Very stocky, quick and makes some really crazy contested shots.

I wouldn't be mad. Shot makers have a place in this league.

gotta admit, I don't know how to interpret this. Is it good or bad to pass with one's weak hand?

Really?

Don’t see a power player at all. More smart finesse shot maker. Think his athleticism peak is average.

At 18 Coby was scoring 1 less point per game on better efficiency while dishing out more assists with less turnovers while leading his team to the sweet 16 (Bailey's team didn't even make the tournament)

Despite performing better than Bailey Coby was the 7th overall pick and was never really ranked as a top-5 lock like Bailey often is (again, despite his worse individual stats and team success).
