This is undervalued HEAVY in this forum. Our lack of depth is our #1 obstacle! Lack of offensive strategy for our group #2.
Our will is the only chance we got!

Thibs would never try this unfortunately!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KAT is a pretty decent permitter defender as well. Pretty mobile for a big. He sucks in the post because he doesn't have great instinct and timing to block shots.

So this is what it feels like being a death row inmate waiting to be called to your execution? :o

The suspense is torture.....

Let's just get this game underway already. Huge game from MIKAL tonight. KAT going 4-8 from 3pt.

Run their role players off the three-point line. do not let the game get out of hand and Cap'n Clutch will take us home.

Wishful thinking. It's crazy to me Randle has shot more 3's than KAT. And we know bone-head Thibs isn't going to prioritize 3PT's.

he tries to but it's been difficult because defenses have been doing a better job keeping brunson outside the perimeter for most of the shotclock this year

I'd love nothing more than to take game one, just to remove some of the smugness from a few of the Celtic fans out there.

I know this series is heavily in their favor and they're the defending champions, but it would be great to see them have to sweat a little bit. Besides, we really need to stop basing what happened during the regular season and applying it to the playoffs. I mean, didn't years ago, we won the season series against a team like Miami, only for them to destroy us in the playoffs? Or Detroit won the season series against us this year, and we know the end result.

Right now, it's 0-0. We have an opportunity to take, not steal, take, game one. They are not unbeatable, so let's do it.

I feel like some of that is self-inflicted, though.

I don't think it is fair to say Thibs doesn't want to shoot 3's. Schematically, that is his whole philosophy. Force the defense to put 2 defenders on a penetrator in order to create an open 3 from the corner.

I think it is more accurate to say that the players on the floor don't want to shoot them at volume unless they are from the corners and defenses aren't giving that up easy.

Interesting stats. OG leading in corner 3 attempts but not shooting it well last series. Mikal also up there and shooting a little better.

If those guys can hit those shots with better accuracy it certainly gives us a better chance

Tonight's gonna be a pretty good indicator of where we stand. Boston will coming out wanting blood. They know as well as we do that if we keep it close we have the best closer in the game. If we can keep it close we have a shot. So can we?

I expect a hard attack from Boston early.

So, basically our roster sucks and our coach sucks.

Knicks season ends in 4 games.

May the offseason arguments begin!
