Stephen Adams doesn't 'hate' anything. The guy is a gentle warrior in every sense of the word. He's been battling against us for years, always having played for teams that have been in the firing line of the Steph Curry freight train.

He would be an amazing fit on our team, and a unique personality to have in the locker room. Steph in particular would love him.

He'd be a more zen Bogut...not quite the passsing or defensive chops, but not far off.

At anything above what we were paying looney, why? He's always hurt, can't shoot ft's, and we figured out the double big in 3 games. As a backup big to take loon's spot, sure. 0 need to pay real money for that. If we go big, I want miles turner (hope he's changing people's minds in these playoffs). If we go medium, I'd try to get isiah stewart. If we go small, I'd try to get mamu or goga or adams.

I can’t see how the Pacers let Turner go. They are one of the better teams in the league and he starts and plays 30mpg. He fits great with their roster and they don’t have another center to step into the starting lineup.

Pacers are set up perfectly to just pay Turner and keep it moving with their current core.

I think wanting to sign Adams is a prisoner of the moment sentiment.

He had the best possible impact, the best ever late in his career, for several games. But he must be like -15 for game 7, subtracting a lot of the advantage he built up over the series?

Sign him for the right price maybe 1/4 or 1/3 of TPMLE.

yes, but they're a weird org and you can always count on one head scratching move everyone summer, at least. I hope we can be on the receiving end, for once. Instead, watch turner go to the lakers because he wants to be near the water or some B.S.

He'd be a center I'd push a lot of my chips for. The other guys that can defend, rebound, and shoot 3s are simply ungettable. I'm not saying it would be all the chips, but certainly a high % of them.

Not me, I've wanted Adams for several years now, ever since the glaring impact of Bogut was lost.

Adams led the NBA in offensive rebounding in both 2021-22 (4.6 per) and 2022-23 (5.1 per), so his impact isn't a recent thing. The amount of 2nd chance points he creates just from this alone is astounding, especially when you consider that those 2nd chances will go to a team with Steph Curry on it. His screen setting on offense wouod also be a HUGE +, and he's a smart guy so his pin down screens for opur shooters would be valuable. Kerr would love him.

I see no reason to not try and add him, IF he is available.

Sure for the right price.

If he's on the Warriors, watch the refs call more fouls on him.

RealGM Wiretap: Warriors Prioritizing Al Horford In Free Agency

I was listening to the recent Warriors Plus Minus podcast and if I remember correctly they relayed that someone with the Warriors was commenting on what a bad season Horford had...

How much are they going to have to pay for Horford?

Geez, Curry, Butler an Green aren't old enough I guess.

Probably the tpmle or at least part of it. We really just need him for a few minutes a game. Green will play 10, Al plays like 16 and 22 for post.

Last year took a few minutes, might've been more than 10 minutes before someone agreed to a deal.

I think we’re out on offensive only players. Think we’re going the okc route and just hope we can turn the other team over and score points in transition.

So it's looking like no max 10% increase for next year.
