Yeah I didn’t bother putting Shead / Mogbo / Chomche etc in the depth chart, because I focused on the main guys.

You have to think that someone like Nolan Traore will be ahead of Shead for development opportunities, although Shead might get more opportunities earlier in the season.

I just don't see us moving IQ unless it's in a deal for a better PG. We need his outside shooting.

I think the shooting concerns are overblown.

- Dick
- Ingram
- RJ
- Ochai
- Jakobe
- KCP

are all threats from downtown. You would have 2-3 of them on the floor at all times.

Then guys like Scottie & Black are more like 15 foot shooters. It’s not like they’re negatives. And they are super smart.

Even Poeltl, although he doesn’t shoot himself, he creates a lot of space by boxing out on offense via screen assists that don’t show up on the box score. One of the analysts wrote about his screen assists creating spacing this year.

Again- this is MASAI’s version of a roster build - prioritizing size, defense, playmaking, and intelligence. Then you add on shooting after (see Norm, Siakam, Fred, OG, Scottie)

The only pull-up 3pt shooter on that list is Dick, and that's mostly in theory. IQ is the only shooter on this team that can create his own shots.

I love the way the kid plays & would be happy if the Raps selected him. He processes the game at such a high speed, has a high motor & is super skilled.

We have seen other players like this (High IQ, processing speed & skill, but lack athleticism) go under the radar & have excellent NBA careers (Jokic is one that comes to mind).

The biggest question I have is how muc of an upgrade he is to Dick. Personally he isnt an upgrade, not even on the defensive end.

Personally, I think.he is going to be a much better player than GD on both sides of the floor. I also think he has a much more.diverse game than GD.

Kon is just much more crafty, has a better handle, better court vision & is a much more.physical & assertive player. His mix of footwork, strength, physicality, assertiveness & timing allow him to get to spots on the floor that GD can't get to.

I.also think he will be a much more reliable shooter.

This should be really interesting for us because the BKN pick is close to the Raptors. Like if they get 6 and we get 7 and this thing focuses in on Queen it will be a good tell

I will be happy to be proven wrong, but I don't think we'll be able to get a read on who the Nets are likely to pick based on anything published in this video series...

It won't be as entertaining as the one the Kings did when they drafted Nik Stauskas. Imagine an organization saying they will crowdsource their draft pick then the owner just drafts who he wants anyway and pretends that's who was recommended by the crowdsourcers, it was like I was watching a scripted comedy or something.

I'm sure there will be smokescreens throughout the series.

Nets will likely hone in on Tre Johnson imo. They need some semblance of an offensive player to build around.
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Stats wise, Knueppel is not a better 3 point shooter than Dick in college. Dick is a better shooter in terms of being a movement shooter or pull up shooter, Knueppel is not even close in those aspects.

Knueppel has better things better than Dick, such as passing. However, many of the things Knueppel is doing may not translate to the NBA.

As for defense, that is not true, he is worse than Dick. Duke was switching around, and Knueppel switched to guard power forward, but that would not be the case in the NBA. He basically doesn't have a defensive position on defense.

You are better off with Walter than Knueppel, and Dick is just a better shooter, not just a spot up shooter like Knueppel (Knueppel pull up 3 is 25% with 12 attempts out of his 200 3s).

There is no way Queen isn't better than Knueppel.

Ya. I really do see his floor as a Herb Jones that can shoot, which is extremely valuable in the NBA. He has a real clear cut NBA starter level talent on the defensive end, and there's no reason to think he wont be a good spot up shooter. Does he have OG upside? I think so. How does that not go in the top 10?

I really do see a lot of OG more than anyone in the league for comparison. What type of player is that? I think we can all agree OG was a 3 and D guy but on steroids. They both have the height and length and move extremely well to cover ground and deter shots. Tough to do on the wing that's why OG was so high in demand across the league. Bryant also had a higher DBPM than OG did in freshman seasons. Both had low usage 16-17%

When you look at the type of players we like, what wins in the playoffs, 2 way players with great length and athletism - I don't see how Bryant isn't top 3 on our board at 7 or 8.

The difference is about believing him being a movement shooter, than Anunoby being just a spot up shooter.
He already showed being a good cutter and finisher, that may not change the Anunoby comparison, but the floor seems to be higher.

Both players made perfect sense, Infact the big 3 wanted coach to play the youngn's alongside them actually, I think that was their best lineup, Mike bud wasn't having it tho & played them less n less / good finds for that specific team tho

Just watched another mock draft where we're taking, you guessed it, Malauch.
