Unless Donovan goes for 60+ in efficient shooting, we will lose.

The series? Yes, if they are out for the series you will lose...But 1 game in which the Pacers already "did their job?" I don't think it's a definite. Guys play over their heads in a single game all of the time.

Ok this one is definitely not happening. Celtics aren’t the Cavs and pacers aren’t the Knicks

Meh, scheme is irrelevant if Hunter, Mobley, and Garland can't play tonight.xBulletproof wrote:I'm expecting to see some zone tonight. The Pacers picked on Allen in switches. Maybe they will be less likely to switch everything.
The regular season games were so useless in telling what schemes you should run or what you should do that I expect a lot of changes tonight. Cleveland's going to give everything they have because if you lose both games at home that's pretty awful. I don't know what the recovery rate is from that but I imagine it's not good.
That said I would expect Cleveland to win tonight. I'm just curious what they do to get there and how.

Your Pacers were the most recent team to pull it off, only about a 7.3% chance to win the series if down 0-2.
Ah, right you are. Then the 2017 Celtics were the last team to do it in the 1st round vs the Bulls, after dropping the first 2 at home.xBulletproof wrote:JujitsuFlip wrote:Meh, scheme is irrelevant if Hunter, Mobley, and Garland can't play tonight.xBulletproof wrote:I'm expecting to see some zone tonight. Pacers did it losing 2 road games though. Losing 2 home games is worse, I would think. As far as the injuries, I'm chalking that up to gamesmanship. I feel like in the playoffs teams tend to be dishonest about the likelihood of guys to play. I could be wrong, but I never trust what they say publicly.

it's an auction market. more Cavs betters than Pacer betters. some just because Cleveland is a bigger city.

It’s not that simple though. Smart money will come in and take advantage of those odds if that’s the case, and the line will return to the more optimal level.
