I'd argue if you're the more talented team, you actually hurt yourself by focusing too much on the 3-point shot, since you're diluting your talent to something that's higher variance. More blowouts, but point differential doesn't matter in the playoffs.

This is on Mazzulla. Putting Kornet, Hauser and Pritchard on the court in that 3rd quarter was the key. You are up 20 and you lose because you are too stubborn and keep 3 space cadets on defense on the court together.
Hauser should play 0 minutes in the playoffs
