Pissed off

Really worried about JB more than KP right now.

Hope Hauser is okay.

Credit to the Knicks, they learnt this win.

Like how can you miss that many threes and not switch something up?

Al/Luke/Queta isn't the answer but KP may need to go.

May?

Dude has to go.

15 from 60 at the three point line is disqusting! Most playoff 3 pt misses ever….making history on an ultimate choke job night giving up a 31-11 run. Def a gut punch, haven’t felt that since the Warriors smoked cigars on our court! Have some humble pie, what you going to do? You going to go back to back or just be another 1 and done?!?!?!

Maybe they are content with their one chip. Maybe they don’t have the heart to grind for anymore. I am extremely interested to see how they come out Wednesday. If they don’t blow the Knicks off the floor after this disaster then that’s going to be very telling.

I been saying jt all year in this message board that i don’t see a finals team because they’re one dimensional. They’re a historically 3 point chucking team this year. It’s not even close to last year. They’re poor as well in the shooting department. I am so sick of porzingis as well. They need to be a factor and he can’t get on the court because of his allergies. What a dufus.

It's just a bummer, that the coach doesn't run some plays that will get his stars closer to the hoop in high leverage moments

We approach the game from such a low-percentage, high variance offensive mindset that the approach can be hard to overcome sometimes because we are not using ball- or player-movement or off ball screening, it's just shoot more threes and in some way this (attempting more threes) is a victory in and of itself

last playoffs we were 24 assists per game. this year playoffs we're at 20 assists per. But really, game 5 against Orlando (30 assists) in raising the averages. We've had 4 out of 6 games with less than 20 assists. Just the fundamental beliefs underlying our approach is so simplistic and introduces so much opportunity to lose when you are taking so many isoball, low percentage shots...

Well deserved loss
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
Scal was on point. They ran 1 action and chucked a 3 when it failed. Lack of ball movement, lack of coaching adjustments. Loss of KP really seemed to throw Joe off.

If the gameplan is just to chuck 3s then Pritchard needs to be on the court more.

News flash, Porzingis was clearly not healthy and didn't play most of the game and didn't cost us the win.

He may well be traded in the off season but to scapegoat him and blame him for tonight is lazy and unfair thinking.

Tatum (and I love him) really went missing when we needed him the most.

Tatum deserves lots of blame for the second half too. What the **** was he doing?

This reminded me of game 3 vs the Magic, where we played a great second quarter, but otherwise didn't appear to care much (Joe included).

The ending reminded me of the Heat series in '23.

Jrue & DWhite made some really clutch plays towards the end of regulation, it's a shame they didn't stay as involved in our offense. Al kept us alive with his defense towards the end of regulation. Pritch was instrumental in the first half.

Jays are getting some hate, maybe rightfully, but Tatum finished with 23/16/6, and I thought Jaylen played really well in the first half if not also later on. I know they were a combined 5-25 from 3, but in general I feel like we got some good individual efforts tonight, were just unorganized & unprep'd as a team in the second half and I put that on Joe.

Knicks are a tough opponent, at their best, they are easily tougher than any team we faced last year. They are physical and intense and can thrive in chaos. Their starting lineup is pretty talented. Thibs, historically, is one of the best defensive coaches in the game. It's encouraging that we played like we played and still had a chance til the end.
